I'm running the Husky mats for the front (X-Act Contour Floor Mats). I had Weathertechs before and feel that they are definitely flimsier than the Huskys.
Also, if you can wait for the black friday sales, I think I bought the Husky mats for about 50% off, so it was a great deal (But this was 5 years ago, so unsure if they still have such deals).
For the rear row, when I got the truck, the dealer had thrown in some floor mats for the front & rear rows. I only replaced the front because the rear row mats were good enough and still good after 5 years of use.

I picked up the 3W mats, they are a great fit and well worth the price. Only rub for me is made in China, whereas the husky and weathertechs are made in USA. I ended up returning and am going to go with the Husky mats for that reason alone.

We have them in our ‘21 Sienna and they are great. If I didn’t have WeatherTech in the Tundra I would definitely get a set.

Awesome! Thanks for the responses. Gonna give them a try. Just ordered them from Amazon. Just wanna get something better than the flimsy ones that came with the Tundra.

It shouldn’t matter because all the autos have the same thread pitch. Manual tacos I don’t know.

Here’s the one I bought, it’s a knock off of the 16-23 TRD Pros

Finally got some time and installed some parts that have been lying around my garage for about a month.
    • OEM TRD Rear Sway Bar (PTR11-34070)
    • RCI 1/4” Aluminum/Black Powder Coat Engine Skid Plate
Probably the most underrated purchase I’ve made that has made my life easier has to be the .

For once the dealership wasn't feeding a line of BS. Glad it all worked out!

I replaced the tailgate soft drop strut a while back and still it did not drop softly. So I replaced the hinge since the bushing was shot...still not soft dropping.

I have a Mountain Hatch tailgate plate that adds enough weight that more help was needed. I ordered the Rough Country kit, and initially installed it on the PS of the tailgate. My reasoning was to distribute the load on bother sides, since the DS already had the factory strut. Well...that didn't work because of the notch in the PS hinge that allows you to remove the tailgate. No problem, swapped everything to the DS.

You have to start them young in their hatred for Torx head fasteners. Told the boy to grab the Torx, and he came back with my old VW set of triple squares, so I let him try those a few times before I corrected him.

All in all, happy w the mod.

Not as far as I know, which leaves me a bit suspect. Apparently a short was causing excessive current draw, causing fuses to burn. I don’t know, no more codes though, although they could have just cleared them. Guess we’ll see.

What tail lights were they? Many of us have some form of led lights with no issues. @memario1214 can hook you up with the Hottails conversion. :boink:

I haven't seen it on Tundras specifically, but I've definitely seen some aftermarket tails have circuit board failures and back-feed a system before.
    Thanks mate! :fistbump:

Got new shoes yesterday! 295/70R18 Toyo Open Country AT3s. Gotta shoutout Kenny Knox tire center in Valley AL... Toyos were mounted/balanced/installed for $1650 out the door. I removed front mudflaps and the baby air dangs at the front of the wheel wells to eliminate rub. Rear mudflaps are still on. No rub driving around town or on the highway. Ride is definitely stiffer but I need to play around with PSI. I can hardly believe these tires are just as quiet as the 53k mile factory Michelins! They may get a bit louder once the rubber firms up, but they're nice and quiet about 300 miles in. The truck looks way better too.

Didnt Lexus have issues, years ago, with aftermarket LED headlights and their new drive by wire steering system? I may be remembering entirely incorrectly, but people were replacing the headlights w non-TEQ versions, and it would cause the DBW system to fail. Anyone else remember something like this, or can correct me here?

Sorry but I didn’t install them, so I couldn't tell you, they were there when I bought the truck, which was my argument with the dealership. I did really like them though. I think I’ll live with the oem’s for a bit though. Here’s a pic, maybe someone else has them as well?
