Anyone else having this? The bottom plastic trim piece on the left side of the driver seat is catching and popping on the floor whenever it adjusts when I get in the vehicle. I am by no means large or overweight (6’4” and 199 lbs) and it just began within the last few weeks. I know the side trim is known to crack but that hasn’t occurred yet on mine and I have made an effort to lift myself over the side.

Mine didn’t crack like most show in the threads.
The very front clip snapped on both seats and the panel would move around with seat adjustment.
Dealer replaced them no questions asked.

Was it rubbing on the floor? That’s what’s causing the popping is the rear of the left side is hitting the floor.

I have a 2023. Mine is doing the same thing. It is a design flaw and we'll documented on this forum. Toyota has released a different part for the seat button housing that has a steel backing. I told the dealership to order it for me because mine had cracked and fallen apart. I think they ordered and installed the old part that is just cheap plastic because mine is now popping and cracking again. Good luck with your struggles

The well documented issue is the plastic cracking. I haven’t seen anything about it catching on the floor and popping when the seat goes forward?

No, the front was when it would fall off.
