All that stuff is way too much work.

Go 15 miles out. Dump a big ole weight with a shrimp on it and have a beer while you relax and wait for something to bite.

Give it some time. We're about the 180 point right now and about to circle back. Probably not going to be able to stop it at the 360 point. Think turds being flushed down a toilet bowl.

Isn't that what's called "circling the drain?"

Here I am, a Minnesotan that doesn't fish. I'm weird like that.
I'm not that big on baseball either.
I was hoping motorcycles and single malt Scotch would have stuck around longer, but I guess they're just so day before yesterday.
So what's the new topic today?

My favorite form of fishing is for beer out of the cooler. Seems like every time I open it up I catch one.

I freakin' hate Manny Machado; although I think he's in a much better place now that he's w/the Padres... sometimes putting people in a role where they should be leading by example does them some good, and I think he's embraced that new role; not saying he has what it takes, just saying he seems to be at least trying...

    Same.
I love a good V8 exhaust note, N/A or boosted, but there's something about that one that just isn't right.

    But, but, but…

Does your truck ride like a Buick?

    Does it have Corinthian leather?

    Does it have seat massagers?

Does it play fake engine sounds through the speakers to cover the terrible sounds coming from the engine? :monocle:

just a point of clarification, the sounds is actually real sound augmented from the engine.

its still lame though, and mine is OFF, HA

It’s probably a bit rowdy for most. Longtubes, and probably catless in the UAE. I believe they said it’s a custom exhaust after that by Ekanooracing. I would also guarantee the video does no justice at all, the microphones and speakers simply can’t pick up and convey the sound in it’s entirety for pretty much any exhaust video.

I get what you're saying about sound depiction, but it's not about the rowdiness of the exhaust.... my dislike is the burbly sound as the RPMs start to top out :notsure:

Ah I see. To each their own I suppose on something subjective like exhaust tone. I wouldn’t want my daily driven truck to sound like that, but I think it sounds nasty for what it is, personally.

I took the day off today and hit a local creek tucked back in a ways. Love fishing on a Thursday! A 3wt, a box of dries, and some feisty 8-12”ers is a good way to spend a summer day.

Who takes their dogs out and around on a regular basis? What if any stores? Restaurant patios? When did dogs become such a huge part of society? Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs and hike them daily. But when did they become as important as humans? I saw a family eating on a patio with their dog sitting in a chair next to the table. I regularly see them being taken into Target and other stores. Am I the only one asking WTF is going on these days?

I take my dog to Lowes a lot with me. It's good socialization for him and gets him out of the house to a new environment. There's a couple breweries he comes to with my wife and I occasionally but he definitely doesn't sit up on a chair. He's a good boy at my feet with a bowl of water just people watching.
