Crazy, don't hear of many places paying once a week

 

Most contractors do. Especially union - it’s in the building trade contracts that they get paid weekly. So it’s easier to run staff at the same time. Plus we run all of our project tracking on 1 week increments so we need payroll posted to get labor costs.

I budget for 24 paychecks per year although I get 26. The two months of 3 paychecks are my surprise bonus…

 

IPA's

for theater of the mind - I did 10yrs at a beer distributor & took many classes in St Louis.
IPA's taste like you put a cigarette out in a glass of piss.

A/B tried to make it a quality IPA - but, like all IPA's, they don't sell in volume.

Human's like American light lagers. go see what sells.

for the record - my favorite was Ziegenbock from A/B ...it was their highest cost beer to produce. 2nd was Michelob Dark.


I never cared for the affects of alcohol & never drank much. last drink was 2004.


and...since IPA's are so hoppy, you nancy-boys enjoy that crap all you want.

agreed. I'm not much of a drinker. a few beers on occasion. my favorites are sam Adams summer ale and Corona. both light lagers.
I tried Guinness once. it's so bitter it almost made me puke. I couldn't get past the second sip.
now, it could be that my taste buds are different than other's, but I can't imagine they are that different.
It seemed popular with the mid 20s, I don't want to let go of my partying/college days- crowd. almost like they forced it on themselves because it was the trendy beer.
not sure how you can aquire a taste for something that has no taste, other than gag-inducing bitter.

 

also, I've been peeing really dark during this vaca/road trip, even with drinking Gatorade and staying hydrated.
bought an 18 pack of corona and it lightened right up.
so, light lagers are obviously good for you too. just sayin.

I think ours will be a good driver as well. But those first few trips in heavy traffic were a bit tense in what she calls the big rig. She does like its power though. Can't wait to show her beast mode on it.
