The only Tundra that goes 10 hours without stopping for fuel is idling on the back of a flatbed.[/QUOTE]

That sounds like an interesting challenge. Just how long will a Tundra idle until a full tank of gas goes empty?

I found an annoying rattle I was hearing up front. It was this grille fastener that was loose.

You got the space, might as well make it usable…….. I’m not carrying the menagerie that shifty is right next to me…….
I have an amp under my seat, a snatch rope under the passenger seat, above mentioned in the flip down arm rest, metal and soft shackles in the cubby’s behind the back seats along with my bi-flator setup for compressor use. All other recovery gear is in the tire trash sack(trasharoo is the worst bag setup there is…)

My buddy built a flatbed with a large sliding drawer in the back for all his gear. The drawer goes under the bed, between the frame.

I finally got the tonneau cover installed. 3 fold hardtop. I took a chance on Ebay. $429 including shipping and they shipped it Fedex. Got it in 2 days. Surprisingly well made and fit perfect. Heavy as a bugger for a one man install but I got it done.

It was just annoying, even at idle I was hearing the faintest rattling sound and couldn't figure out where it was. Then I noticed the other day when I had it running with the hood open ... no rattle. So I started digging and sure enough, slap the grille a couple times and hear the rattle. Ding ding ding.

Everytime I close my hood I can see my grill flop around. It's not loose loose, but I don't think it's connected on the bottom.
