When talking to the P.O. of the Ridgeline I bought from the dealer, we figured out that someone at the dealership took the locking lug nut & key from the stock wheels & replaced them with standard lugs. Who steals a set of locking lug nuts?

Gotta find a junkyard that comes to you and installs salvage glass. I had to replace the rear window on my Ranger and found one in Conroe.

Unfortunately the dude that installed it insisted he didn't need to reinstall the hardware and only used adhesive. So it leaked after a year or so

Bluebell got it a few years back and that ended their monopoly over ice cream in this state. HEB ice cream is just as good.

You said you wanted loud. And those two are the nicest sounding loud exhausts I can think of out side a full system delete with a full 3" x pipe set up.

Sirs, I think yall misunderstand the purpose of this car. If it were a (hurk)camaro, then sure loud pipes. Or a (blurp) mustang, loud pipes.

So this is what we call a "sleeper" build. No loud pipes, no wing, no graphics, just a crown vic. That whistle under the hood? Pff, just a squeaky belt. You guys need to learn some subtlety.

I think @bmf4069 has a skid row plate that I hooked my peepers into. Nice piece of kit.

Jake Jake fab fab has been pondering a full belly pan. Not so much for protection, although that is an added bonus. More for aero/fuel economy. It would be interesting to compare the data at the very least.

In the shop at 5am this morning, this truck is consuming me in a good way.

You're welcome to crawl around under my rig in October to inspect my 4 skid plates.
One of these days I'll add a 5th for the gas tank. But it would be the only non-Skid Row on mine, since they don't make one for the gas tank as of now.

No e85 tune, but, my buddy is going to look at putting one on. He said it'll met about 50 more horsies. And it does have a bigger pump and injectors. The fuel pump for a Vic is in the side of the tank. Weird.

50 ponies is a solid jump for the E85 tune. Keeping the skinnies out back?

So the factory steelies are 17x7.5, and there's a company out there that you can send them to to make them 17x9. Current size is 235/55-17. With that 9" it says you can run 285/40-17. It's also $700 plus a $300 core charge.

So I was looking at tire size/wheel size charts and it says 235 max on 7.5s. It also says 255 max on 9". So I'm kinda leery of their number, but if that's OK I don't see why I can't run some 255/45-17s. It's almost the exact same size(adds 4 revolutions per mile), and would be a bit better. As is, if I just floor it without a clutch drop it doesn't break traction, and gets a nice 2nd gear scratch with a power shift. I'm thinking 255s are the way to go.

Until I put a 100 shot on there....
