I moved to Boulder in 1997 to go to grad school at CU. I've lived here since then and it's changed a lot, mostly for the worst. There have always been a ton of rich students that are more interested in snowboarding and bong hits than school. The students cause a lot of trouble. When they leave for the summer, it's great.

There's less trustafarians these days. There's still a few old homeless looking rich ex-hippies, but most of them sold their houses to a Texan or Californian and left town. The old hippy vibe is pretty much over. It's a different community. The Republic ended when everyone moved here. COVID brought a lot of people from out of state.

Once my son goes to college, we'll spend most of our time in Frisco. Summit County FTW.

Also, not sure if you went into detail earlier, is it having trouble cooling? Have you actually had it looked at or just video over the phone? If it’s having trouble starting, windings are getting hot and probably charring, when the oil washes over everything it contaminates the oil and turns to acid(acid burn out) they have test kits that you psspssp some Freon out of the Schaeder core. Also a lot of scroll compressors sound like a bag of bolts in a dryer when they shut off due to how the scroll unloads on its mating surface(which is completely normal)
You could ask them to do the acid test before they start, and if positive, have the lines flushed before the new comp is in but after the old one is out

Just taught the daughter how to use (gas powered) weed trimmer. Sitting in the garage, drinking a beer…supervising.
