Apologies if this is the incorrect thread for this question… @iHacker

I’ve had the ihacker harness and TRD Pro LED assembly installed on my 2020 (OEM LED DRL bar) for over a year now - awesome harness. No issues.

This week replaced all my rear incandescent bulbs to LEDs (+ resistors on the rear blinkers) and am getting hyper flash only when the blinkers get hot - takes at least 60 seconds. Cannot figure it out for the life of me. I’ve even replaced the blinkers again with GTR top notch bulbs. Same thing… hyperflash when they get hot.

    Any advice?? Thanks in advance!

I have a 2020 tundra with halogen DRL and want to upgrade to LED DRL. Do you have the lights for sale?

He sells the harness. You need to buy the headlights from Toyota or a vendor of your choice. Most of us bought from an online Toyota parts retailer during a sale.

Hello and like @RobertD said I only make and sell the harness to install the OEM LED headlights, you have to buy the headlights from an Online or local Toyota dealership or Toyota parts store. The very first post OP in this thread have all the information Part# and options available.

Also have a link for each of the options to check the prices on Sparksparts this is just to get you an idea and compare you can buy from who offers the best price.

20240720_193703.jpg 20240720_202948.jpg 20240720_193648.jpg Just finished installing 2019 Pro Led headlights from Sparks, with the ihacker dimming harness and wanted to write a short review.
First of Sparks 3 stars at best. They have a price match on their site, and when i found them.slightly cheaper somewhere else I was told that doesnt apply to already discounted parts. Next when the two headlights came one of them had a screw loose just rattling around in the assembly. They did replace it with no cost to me but communication was not the best to say the least. All in all the lights are quality and packaged good, I would just say customer service was not up to par.
Next on to ihacker harness, absolutely 5 stars. The harness is OEM quality and easy to use. Comminucation was excellent even got back to me via this page during install question. Everthing was timely from question responses to shipping, and he always followed up, i would highly recommend going with ihacker harness. Only issue i had with install was the depinning of gray wire, but just cut it and spliced it with the ihacker relay. Put everthing back together, and all functions like factory! I thank you ihacker for your professionalism and quality product!

Anyone thinking about doing this upgrade,i highly recommend it, looks and functionality make it a no brainer. And compared to other LED lights these are actually relatively cheap.

    Hi all,
Apologies if this has been answered here. I am a bit confused, I know that LEDs were introduced to 2018+ Tundra's but was it only for certain trims? I have a '18 Sport that I believe to have LED headlights and I am seeing here that many '18+ owners are buying the harness that @iHacker provides. Is this because their '18+ Tundra came with halogen from factory?
    These are my current headlights..
    20240727_152923.jpg

I just swapped out my squadrons lens to the newly available factory amber lens and I am seeing what my options are to get my headlights to have the matching amber top and bottom DRL strips.

I know that Morimoto offers their headlights with amber DRL's as an option but is there a plug n play OE LED replacement that I can buy that might be slightly more affordable?

@iHacker can you give me any advice? Or anybody please? Thanks in advance.

Hello my friend, nice lighting setup

Yes as you mentioned the 2018 TRD sport is equipped with LED headlights from factory and luckily you not gonna need my harness to swap for the TRD PRO headlights. Unfortunately there is no available OEM option that have amber DRL strip unless you manage to do complete retrofit to change the LED boards to a switchback version that probably Diode Dynamics could sell.

The only option that I have seen with amber LED strip is aftermarket and not sure about the quality and reliability compared to their OEM counterpart price is almost the same as OEM

Check the link below and hopefully you will find something that works for you there or definitely the Morimoto headlights are far superior but price tells you everything.

Thanks @iHacker for that response. Answered all the questions I had. That link also answered something I was curious about with Forms headlights. Their images always shows a white and amber DRL but a video they have shows it's sequential amber only when turning and not consistent. Looks like Morimoto will probably be the best option. Gotta start saving my pennies

    Thanks again!

Don’t forget to check the AlphaRex options too but some of them are expensive as the Morimoto ones

@iHacker new to the forum. And I’m here (for starts) for this! I want to grab a harness for my 2016 TRD Pro. I bought a pair of 2019 LEDs locally, so already have the lights sourced! Let me know what info you need!

In March I ordered the harness from iHacker. It arrived in something like two days. Waited for a Toyota sale and picked up the headlights in early July. Finally had combination of time and good weather this morning to install the lights. I am not very mechanically inclined, but following the instructions posted on page 1 of this thread the installation was straight forward and now my 2016 had leds and the led drls. It looks so much better. It is middle of the day right now, so pictures are kinda underwhelming.

My only regret is not doing this a couple years earlier. Anyone else on the fence like I was, go ahead and do it!

@iHacker brand new member. I have been reading up on your harness and would like to know how to go ahead and purchase one. I have a 2017 TRD Pro with the halogen headlights and Amber DRL. I am wanting to have the led drl on all the time during the day but be able to dim them at night with the actual headlamps on. Can you tell me which harness I need? Also, is it possible to turn them on/off with an added switch? Thanks so much.

Another successful led light conversion with the ihacker harness. I opted for the dimmable drl set up. Easy install, everything works and looks great! Now to do something about the old fog light

Hi iHacker. I have a 2017 Tundra SR5 and the halogens are absolutely terrible, so I'm upgrading to the 2019 TRD PRO headlights.
Honestly, I'm not very comfortable with electrical wiring...should I get over that or is it any big deal to keep the DRL non-dimming? My gut tells me to keep the install as simple as possible...thoughts and how to order?
    Much Thanks

I went out and grabbed a set of the OEM LED Fog lights. Found a set on ebay that were basically brand new for $75. 10 minute install per side and they look great. The OEM LED fog lights are the same for basically all the Trucks/SUVs that Toyota makes in that year range. The "Tundra" labelled listing were super expensive but I found a set that were labeled for a 4Runner and they were cheap. Did the same thing for my Leather Steering Wheel.

I have a 2016 with the amber DRL. I don’t want to run a wire to my fuse box, as I am concerned about any amount of water or dust getting in there. Is it possible to setup a harness to use the amber turn signal in the LED housing as the DRL? I don’t care about the LED drl, mostly looking to upgrade for light output, not style points.
