and confirm that all of the Toyota Safety Sense features work perfectly? The manual says no lifting, painting grill, emblem etc. or it can mess with Safety Sense.

Some dealer will do it with a $600 lift and they'll crank the price up 10k.

If that's the case, I don't think I'd ever want to buy one.

It hurts every time I see those markups. Making a few guesses here but they put like what...MAX 4-5k worth of parts on, and charge $12k. My father in law got a RAM like this years ago and still swears it was a great deal.

I hate the way you go to trade in a vehicle and they say your lift, wench, and aftermarket lights and rims don't add much to the price that they're willing to give you for the trade-in. But when they add the accessories they charge an arm and a leg. you only get about one grand for every 10 grand of accessories you put on is what a dealership told me one time. Needless to say I sold my truck privately.

Hopefully that's how mine is going to turn out.....a lot less cheaper than paying that kind of mark up!

When I traded in my Taco, I pulled all aftermarket upgrades off for that same reason.

That's what kills me about dealers, they charge out the ass if you buy it from them lifted with rims etc. but if you trade it in with all that on it they won't give you a dime extra for it.

Just be thankful you don't need to buy these in Australia
Just bought my first Tundra - 2015 Platinum - paid over $100K second hand...and it was a good deal!
Loving the truck though - beautiful to drive!

Yeah, worth a little less, but not allowed to drive LHD vehicles imported anymore so need to do RHD conversion. Expensive

Yeah, the only way we get them is through 3rd party import/conversions - Toyota don't sell them here So buy in USA, ship to Oz, pay import tax (12.5%), convert from LHD to RHD, then add government duties - $140K.
