Also, how did this turn out? I do like the older pro grills but after having a nightmare of a time with sensors after lifting my 4Runner, I'm not terribly keen on going through that hassle again.

 

Serra Toyota is finally shipping my white hood bulge. I did go ahead and install the pro grille however, the front end of my truck looks to be going thru an identity crisis with the chrome bulge.



No sensor issues so far. And thankfully so, since I paid for the OEM garnish, which cost more than the grille.

You won't have issues with the OEM garnish. You should get the white vinyl overlay letters for the grille.

Good evening lads, I currently have a 2020 Tundra limited in Calvary blue with the chrome surround and was told this trd pro grill will fit my year truck but every site I go to tells me it will not fit. Part number is 53101-0C070-J0. I’m looking for the blue surround and grill. Thank you guys for the help.

ya I saw that but that one had a different part number and didn’t want to spend that money to ship it if it was wrong, I’ve seen the part on Toyota sites and even if I choose 2020 TRD pro it says it won’t fit.

All 3 of those links between you and @Dave8699 posted will work for your '20 Tundra. You'll just have to get the garnish piece that is another $300 for your TSS to work properly although there may be other relocation methods but that garnish piece is your best bet.

I have a 2015 Tundra in Magnetic Grey...looking to switch out to the 2019 TRD Pro Grille. Looked on sparksparts and don't see it. Maybe I am missing it because I swore I saw it on there before. Does anyone have a good place to purchase? Trying to get rid of the chrome on the front.

This may be a dumb question but what exactly does the TSS do. Is it just radar cruise control? The emergency braking?

 

Pre-collision, Lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and I think the automated high beams work off of the sensor as well. I think that's most or all of what the TSS does on the 2.5gen.
I believe the newer vehicles have a more advanced TSS built in.

 

I use none of those. I literally shut them all off. When I use cruise control I use the old school way where if you set it at 70 it goes 70. Could I switch grills and not even replace the sensor? Or does this throw a bunch of codes?

 

They are not fully off when you turn them off. Yes it will throw codes if the sensor is unplugged or not it the correct position.
