I don't think I've heard a decent new hip hop song in close to ten years. I abandoned the genre after trap music. Every now and then I'm forced to choke on pop culture and I'm not impressed. I'll stay underground.

 

Astronaut rhymes would be cool

 

I mean, I feel like there's been a few in the hip hop/rap realm. Lucas Joyner, Lupe Fiasco, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Future, J. Cole, and while I'm not a fan, Mac Miller has a couple of tracks that are worth mentioning, for high-level semi-known-but-not-pop-mainstream folks.

The entire industry is kinda plagued with issues. Pedophilia and addiction/overdose being two of the biggest. Mumble rap / Soundcloud didn't help the situation much. But the Pedophilia piece has been huge, big celebs getting exposed left and right, flood gates are opening on Drake atm.

 

Ya'll leavin out Twista and Busta rhymes.....sad. I still jam to Twista on the reg.

I know a lot of y'all stick to first gen stuff but the turd gen (is that what we're calling the 3rd gen or was the the 2.5 gen?????) has just gotten a recall for engine replacement on around 100,000 trucks. Interesting thread.

I'm wondering if I stumbled across a Toyota specialist shop on my lunch break today. There was also a 4runner, and a couple of 1st gen Tundras not pictured, someone in the shop building behind these trucks was working on them.

 

Either that or a chop-shop haha

 

Yeah, I just looked on Google Maps and got the name of the business and then looked them up. They are a 4x4 off-road shop that specializes in Toyotas but will service other vehicles too (5eight fabrication). Good to know that there is an independent Toyota specialist around.

Basically any pre turd gen tundra 6 lug Toyota wheel will fit our trucks, with the caveat that some may require wheel spacers

Almost assuredly. Worst case scenario would need a spacer, but most Tacoma factory wheels fit despite the offset. Aftermarket is likely to be closer to our factory offset.

So is the center of the new late model six lugs wheels a different size than the first gen?

 

when you put in the info for a '18 taco it comes back as +01mm offset but might've been a typo.

 

yea, the new ones are 96mm or something small.

I believe the lug studs themselves are also thicker than ours. I think they're what ever thickness the 5 lug second gens were. Hell they might be the same hub bore as those too, just 1 more lug. Not sure.
