I'm looking at ebc and power stop drilled and slotted roters and pads. Looking at upgrading everything. Power stop z36 complete kit from rock auto is $498 with shipping. The basic z17 kit that's oem replacement is under $300 for all four corners. Just asking myself if I need the bigger kit if my oem pads lasted this long. 76k right now...

I was not sold on the whole drilled/slotted thing, we have salted roads here and holes sound like traps for corrosion? I dunno but what I can say is there was a nice improvement with the ebc stuff and looking forward to doing the front as well.

Congrats Adam. I am happy for you and really hope your experience with F**D is better than mine.
Just hearing the name makes me hurl and recall the past nightmare of four transmissions.

Very nice...sure hope you walked outside today and went "Hell yeah..." and not something else.

Here's a question...would you have considered a new Tundra if the quality wasn't a concern and the 3rd gen'rs had hair on their ballsacks? Basically, if the truck was great but still had the twin-turbo V6... For me the lack of a "HD" is a deal killer...

Nope. I knew I wanted a V8. If they had a 5.7 option with a 10 speed I'd have definitely gone back to 'Yota.

Dang, this is rocking my world. I can’t explain it. Not sure what I’m even talking about. I came here today thinking maybe I need a BS thread in my life and I would write something and now my whole world is turned upside down even though I don’t even really know @GODZILLA

looks like a great truck, glad I’m sitting down. Deep breaths.

I'm not sure if I rocked your world in a good way, or if you're going to decide your regret equates to a lack of consent after the fact...

Welcome to our corner of the forum. Buckle up...and a helmet is recommended for this thread. There are a lot of sudden turns. Often violently and without a signal.

Hard to compare a new truck against the 5 year-old Tundra you were considering. I think you chose the correct path.

You got the Coyote V8 right? That engine is, well let’s just call it resolved. Which means good! Really good!!! Nice job!

A real V8...not some anemic crap that most OEMs put in their mid-size rigs.

I saw a ‘24 DC taco today driving next me and the proportions looked pretty weird from the side. With the bulbous body panels making it look wider, the 5’ bed looked
as big as a Hyundai Santa Cruz. Shrinkflation!!!

I didn't want to repost the LS swapped one doing the beach run in MX again. Definitely prefer the looks of the 3rd gen. Legitimately the best looking truck on the road.

So like a sphincter puckering ride with my wife in her RAV4. I can do that!
