Is it an actual manual? Or is that just an auto shifter on the floor? Sweet looking ride dude hahaha.

That road they are driving on is the 191 from morenci(biggest open pit mine in the state, it’s quite impressive) to alpine. It’s sooo damn windy and long!

It’s crazy to see in person, the 191 basically runs thru certain parts of the mine, those huge dump trucks going over bridges as your going thru a tunnel underneath it.

@shifty` i've thought about it all day. And i want a sequoia style exhaust. True duals to a dual inlet chambered muffler. If i went with dual outlet, i'd want both kicked out the pass side behind the rear wheel, but probably single, so i could duct it away from camp, in case i need to idle the truck.

on the other hand, a small twin scroll turbo at the 'Y' then piped all the way back as a 5" single wouldnt hurt. Gimme boost at 1800 & keep it under 4500, i'd be happy with the altitude referenced 4lbs of boost. Maybe less, just take the intake duty off the engine. Bonus points for a naca duct to feed the cooler, but i want the war whistle fed from cab.

guess a 50 shot of n2o would accomplish the same goal. For a little help at high altitude. If i only hit between 3400-4500rpm it shouldnt grenade itself. Maybe add e85 with the juice to keep things cool.

I was, aiming the camera cost me that last mph.

that run cleaned something out. That was about 200 miles into the trip, it was 100+* outside. Oil pressure gauge has worked better than ever, ever since.

I wish that would happen to mine.
Whenever this Quantum ECU shows up, I'll try to top her out haha.
I heard back from the owner the other day. He said he had been out of town and would be back Tuesday and that he doesn't have the passcode for my ECU, so it's going to take extra time. Ugh... I hope it doesn't mean another dead end. Stupid California.

The buell topped at 135ish all the time. I ran out of 610 @ 180 on the zx6r. The 100mph run was 40 miles of holding OD. I wanted my trans to break before i had a trailer hooked to me. No regerts.

So crownvic.net fucking sucks. Still waiting for approval to post. Full of dead threads and revived threads. New posts go unanswered for days. Full of dead links. Photo bucket watermarks everywhere. No @shifty` there to answer stupid questions or get prodded by somebody to make a mega thread. Their info pages are all at least 10 years old filled with dead links.

Hell, I tried just looking up 4.6 2v info on stangnet and the corral. That was painful. Mustang people suck. I made it like 2 threads in before I gave up. Kinda makes you appreciate this forum just that much more.

The only other forum is actually enjoyed being on was ziptied.com; shit made you fill out an application and you needed atleast one member to vouch for you as not being a total tool bag (basically an eye witness that said you go to multiple drift events and could actually drive worth a shit) It was basically like TX Best Gen crew but for drifters. Then they got famous and turned into Hoonigan lol

edit: that's actually where the "hide your daughters" comes from. I forgot who's car it was on but that made LOL so hard it became seared into my brain

Yeah, this place really is the tits. I've had a number of projects over the years and always look to the online communities to browse in my downtime. This is a top tier forum, and reminds me of some of my old favorites that are now long dead or shells of their former selves. I think a big part of it is all of you guys, so thanks for being rad I guess.

Exhaust doesn't change much without the resonator and a stock style muffler. Still just as quiet at idle and maybe just a touch louder at full throttle.

Saw a new Tacoma today. I swear "truck" beds get shorter and shorter it's starting to get comical. I can't help but wonder how much money urban bro-dads have to constantly spend to support this bro-truck market.

I hated my 2017 taco but it was a DC with "long" bed (6 ft was long bed lol) and this new Taco makes me miss it comparatively.

rear window was a tiny little sliding square right in the middle like a ford or chevy or dodge idk. Like a cute little birdhouse entrance.
