SOLD: MCX Virtus 556 11.5 Upper - unfired

This is a complete MCX Virtus 11.5 upper receiver that is unfired. Also includes the AR15 receiver plug/stock adapter and T27 torx key (for barrel clamp bolts and the receiver plug screw). I can also throw in a POF roller cam pin if you want it.

Optional: you can pick either the OEM Sig charging handle or a Radian Raptor LT one.

It has been installed on a lower receiver and racked/dry-fired a few times, but has never seen a live round. It has also had an optic and iron sights mounted at one time, but there aren't any notable marks anywhere.

It installs into the buffer tube hole and has a part that sits above to capture the rear of the dual recoil rod assembly on the BCG.

With a folding stock/brace you can fire folded.

 

It’s partially your fault that I’m where I’m at with my stuff today. That said, in another year I’d probably be buying this from Casey.

 

Short strike piston operated, dual gas settings on the quick changeable barrel. Much less gas blowback in the face if you’re running suppressed compared to a DI.

The club I belong to is in rural Linn County, OR. We have about 4k members. The main range is only 200yds and sits between the freeway and the butte. The north and east ranges have bays that you can choose to share, or not and have a few that are 50yds deep or longer. We use those mostly for USPSA matches. We just had our Sectional there a couple of weeks ago, just shy of 200 competitors including staff.

I've gone out there this time of year on a weekday and if LEO's aren't training, it is very rare to have more than 5-10 people at the whole range. Gets busier during Hunter Sight-In Days. Weekends are busy.

I need to go to COSSA out in Central Oregon with my 6.5CM and the 2 AR-308's I have.

 

I miss the days when I lived in Chandler, AZ, drove 45 minutes out to the desert and shot to my heart's content.

 

That may or may not be exactly what I'm doing Saturday morning...

 

COSSA range east of Bend is on BLM land. They have a long range out to 1k yards, and some longer. It's just on the Cascades side of Millican.
