I took my truck to a mechanic to replace the upper ball joints because I need them done ASAP and he fucked up my spacer on my knuckle. I believe this is a tuff country 4.5 kit. Does anyone know if I can upgrade my knuckle without buying a whole new kit or breaking the bank? I recently bought this truck and didn’t realize how awful spacers really are. They don’t know what to do.

are you running the Tuff Country 4.5" lift with the knuckle spacer?

If so, I swear there are a couple of threads around here that recommend buying/replacing knuckle+spacer setup with their extended knuckle. Best bet on that would be calling Tuff Country and talking with them on advice, I'd think.

PS - you may want to move to a different upper, unless you prefer uniball/delta style joints? They're higher maintenance. JBA uppers have a simple 4-bolt install you can pretty easily do yourself. The SPC (/Eibach) arms are a little more invested, but not much more so.

Every time I see this spacer setup I am shocked that slamming on the brakes doesn’t twist and snap the knuckle/ spacer.
