Hello, looking for some advice on replacing the radio in my 2014 Tundra Crew Max Limited. Looking to install a Sony XAV-AX5000. Is the back-up camera plug and play or is there some sort of adapter required to install? Don’t care about the steering wheel controls so was just going to get a basic wiring kit. I appreciate the advice/input. Thanks!

Axxess has a $20-30$ kit https://axxessinterfaces.com/ if you have the factory screen in the dash... if you got the roof mounted camera you are SOL they told me unless you get to splicing... got a thread on this right now

I don't think the 14 has a roof mounted camera display options. That was a rare 2nd gen thing.

To not splice any wires, you'd need a wire harness that will connect between your aftermarket head unit and your factory wiring. Auto Harness House has what you'd need for a fair price. They are super helpful. Start by looking at this page to see a break down of everything: Toyota Stereo Adapters (2013-2018) - Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Camry (autoharnesshouse.com)

I believe the unit TexasGuyTX is referring to is this: Axxess AXBUCH-T36V Backup Camera Retention Harness for 2013-2016 Toyota (sonicelectronix.com)

The Sony XAV-AX5000 has been discontinued by Sony, do you already have one purchased? If not, there are other Sony units in a similar price range. You'll also need a dash trim kit for your aftermarket stereo.

Dash trim kit: Metra 99-8252 | Single-DIN and Double-DIN dash kit for select ... (sonicelectronix.com)
