Anyone know if you have to remove the entire front end to replace this piece or if it can just be removed by itself? I want to replace the one with the license plate bracket with one that hasn’t been drilled out.

I’ve watched a couple of videos and there is nothing with just removing that piece.

    Thanks for any help.

It can be done with a ratcheting box wrench once you remove the grill section.
about 12 bolts in that and you have to reach up under it from below and get 8 of them.
I have done it a few times now and its not that bad.

The whole "front bumper" will need to be removed in order to remove the lower valence.

Ignorant question. I accidentally bottomed my Tundra. It popped the top and bottom clips on the valance. I ordered a new valance. Appears it can be fit in the grill without removing anything. Am I naive? Thanks.

I guess that’s another question that would be good to know the answer. If it’s removed our cut out because of damage, does the new one snap in?

    Have you tried yet?

Thanks again. Do you know if the valance can be cut out and replaced without removing the bumper? Worth a shot to save some time.

I'm curious about this myself. I damaged my lower valance and bought one off Amazon. Haven't had a chance to try replacing it yet. Looks like it just snaps in, I don't see a reason to remove the entire grill/bumper assembly.
