Headache rack

Hey guys! I’m looking to put a headache rack on my 24. I really like the original backrack, does anyone have it on their truck? I have the cargo camera just curious if the camera view would be obstructed

 

Anyone install the backrack on a 22+ Tundra. I am looking into purchasing a 23 model and want to transfer over my backrack from my 2010

I just found the link on Amazon to the 22+ mounting kit. Anyone do this yet?

I have the backrack headache rack. It’s been great.

 

Do you have the cargo camera?

 

I don’t. I’m not sure where the camera mounts. I assume it would be in the black trapezoid between the two lights.

 

Yep, that is where the camera mounts.

@Samson Can you please share the mounting kit and rack part numbers you used?

Another big ask: Does the rack stick up above the shark fin antenna? I'm wondering as I am debating a 3" factory lift purchase and want to know if it will fit in my garage

 

I don’t remember the part number but I looked it up on backrack’s site and it should be brk30228. The top of the two vertical members is about even with the top of the shark fin.

 

Thanks so much Samson. BRK30228 is the mounting kit for the rack. BRK15004 is the Original Rack part number.

 

Does the backpack work with a tonneau cover? Everything I see says it does not on the 22+

 

Did you ever get a headache rack that doesn’t block the camera?

 

I’ve been talking with spyder industries. They are going to make the camera modification to their werx headache rack

I held off on a back Rack for my 2023 as with the Trd factory lift I can’t have anything taller than the shark fin antenna and fit in my garage still.

 

It looks like it’ll be close to that height, I’ll let you know

 

It looks like you would be fine with the SRX, the top bar is below my shark fin

This one doesn't seem to block much on the rear view camera or bed camera

 

I finally got my headache rack. It’s very heavy duty and I think it looks good.

 

I just check?the real truck website.… the SRX does not have an adapter to work with Gator soft tonneau covers yet…
