Was looking at locking console options. Seems like Toyota factory is about $450 installed at dealership but takes up more room than some of the aftermarket console lock boxes.

recommendations for a box? Best to stick with Toyota or go aftermarket

I went with console vault and happy with my choice. Has plenty of room for stuff. I upgraded to their 4 digit lock but don’t know if that is really needed

I like that but I think they are sold out on the 2024 models unfortunately

Looks cool does it take up most of the console can you still get to the charging ports?

Save some money. There are plenty of the Toyota safe/boxes out there for sale that people do not want or use. I picked one up on eBay for $125. The install is installing and tightening two screws. Very easy. The one i got had no keys but I was able to find them for 15 bucks or so, also on eBay. (COMBI-CAM OVERRIDE KEY / 7432 KEY-#401 or 7440 KEY-#374 number on side of lock) The locks are readily available if you want to go to a four digit code. https://fjmsecurity.com/

Granted, the size is large but it does hold quite a lot.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
Got an OEM safe from EB toyota for $250 last year. Very simple install, leaves room for some items on the side. Swings to the passenger side so you can grab stuff.

I believe it’s the same for all the third gen’s.

exactly what I got, I really like the upgraded lock as well, even coming from Console Vaults in other vehicles.

I too got mine on Ebay for $200. Super easy install. I would love to retro fit it with a biometric lock rather than three digit. Just incase I need quick access to my PEZ dispenser ;)
