Traction Control Off message in DIC

I had a strange thing happen earlier this week. In the left side of the DIC the message flashed on that said, "Traction control off". I didn't push any button or anything to make this happen, and the traction control icon did NOT come on.

Anyone else seen this before?

I wish it were that easy... nanny state got me coming to a complete stop to turn off all the traction crap and then I can't even brake and rev up at the same time.... fuck I got all this horsepower and whoosh sounds for if I can't burn rubber?

 

Can't help the op but @Sixty9Four20 I don't think your turning the tc completely off.

Op did you hit any of the off road features on you dial?

 

Nope. Both hands on the steering wheel. And if it actually turned the traction control off, the icon would have been illuminated.

 

Wish I could be more help......

 

Prob waste of time to have dealer look for any hard codes at this time. Unless you/friend has Christa handy.

 

Good thought. I have Carista and will see if it set any codes.
