Man y'all were busy today.

When I was shopping for a truck I never put color into the decision. I bought the best truck I could first, color just came with the package. If I had, I would've bought a white one. All Toyota paints sucks if you're not on top of caring for it.

I don't wash my truck or clean the interior often. But when I do, I do it as quickly as possible. Next time I might have to pay Sean to hook it up for me.

Just woke up, still can't believe that happened yesterday.

Had a good talk with my girls about it, let them know how big of a deal this is and they will remember it for the rest of their lives. I discussed it from a politically neutral point a view, more of a current event/US history lesson. No need to create political hate in those little sponges, we handle religion and politics the same in our house.. no indoctrination!

 

Teach them morals and let them decide.

 

I heard the audio on our local news radio station just now.
5 secs between bystanders yelling "he's got a gun", and SS snipers taking him out with a head shot.
bystanders yell, 3 shots fired, he's taken out with a headshot within 2 sec of firing.
SS was already looking at the direction of the only elevation in the area? they didn't see him?
there's not that many dots here.

 

Give it a week or two for the many videos being taken to start coming out. Everything is speculative in the "news" for at least a week. Look how often they get it wrong and a week or two later we start hearing what really happened with all kinds of stuff. They want to sensationalize and agitate. Don't fall into the trap or let a personal bias turn into a confirmation bias.

 

Definitely. It's a fail for the secret service, obviously; but how and why will be under a microscope in the coming weeks and will paint a better picture than we have right now.

I saw it on the TV for 10 min this morning and tuned it off. turned the local am news radio station on an they were playing audio of the timeline recorded by bystanders.
I couldn't possibly give less of a fuk about media, news or what any bobbleheads on the TV or radio or internet think or say.
I haven't heard anyone jump to any conclusions. and no one puts shit in my head. it's too thick and I don't listen. unless you're a cute little slut, it's hard to get anything over on me.
this is my own head, doing simple math, after about 10 min of listening to info.
this kid was allowed to climb up on the only roof, SS was already looking at him. he got his 3 rounds off and 2 sec later he was put down with a head shot.
that's that. people can gossip and speculate and argue past that all they want. I'm not upset, phased, surprised or interested in politics in the least.
I just know that shit like this will get sloppier and more obvious as time moves on,because people get dumber and dumber by the minute.
and then you have the 30-40 something yr old SS agents around the president that look like the Benny Hill show,.....wow.

My kids, in their 30s, know my political views, but I don't know if they share them.
I tell them to make sure they vote in elections, for whomever they want to vote for, but just vote and have their voices be heard.

Here is what I know - nobody knows much of anything yet.

Armchair quarterbacking, talking heads, so called experts, etc all postulating on what happened to get to this point, what could have happened, what may have happened, what will happen…..it’s all speculation at this point. The thing that they are doing immediately is identifying where the breakdowns actually occurred and fixing them immediately. Hold those people accountable. And adapt to do better next time. Prayers to all the families who had loved ones hurt or killed in this situation.

The reality is that this could have been much worse and no matter what side you are on it is an embarrassment for our country.
