I don’t think I’m their target demographic. Had to drop a buddy off to pick up his new Model 3 and saw the fleet of Cyber Trucks that I assume were there for various recalls.

I saw a blue one last week but was driving the opposite direction and couldn't grab a pic of it. The colors definitely don't look as god awful ugly as the appliance look.

Finally captured one after seeing quite a few. TX plates. What's up with the tires? Did Goodyear make a special cyber edition?

Yup. The cyber truck comes with fancy wheel covers like you’d see in a 80’s sci-fi flick, but they were slicing the tires so they removed them until a fix is decided on.

Saw one at Hidden Falls off road park today. It did not look like it was having a good time.

Special parking guy was back today. I joke, it doesn’t bother me but then again the parking at HD is funny. Lots of “reserved for PRO” signs all over the place. Also trailer reserved pull thru spots, but are also Pro reserved, the cyber guy couldn’t park there either. Hmm, maybe it does bother me. Where’s my beer lol.

We’ve got an army green cyber truck and a school bus yellow cyber truck running around town. No joke - school bus yellow. I about died laughing when I saw it yesterday. I couldn’t even tell the kid riding shotgun to snap a picture. But I’ll try next time I see it.

For some reason, the army green color on the cyber truck makes it look like it’s wearing a giant diaper.

It's a hatchback, which makes it an suv at best. Most definitely not a truck.

First vehicle I ever drove was my dad’s old rusted out ‘75 El Camino. At 15, I could drive it to school—which I was relentlessly mocked for—and to my first job as a dishwasher at a local steakhouse.

Did you know the bucket seats in El Caminos could swivel 90° to help you get out?

A solution in search of a problem.

    Just like the El Camino.

My hatred of the El Camino may be skewed due to the emotional damage of having been seen driving a completely rusted out specimen to and from high school. But I always thought it embodied the “worst of both worlds”. It's a truck on basically the same frame as a Chevelle.

Does it suck as a car? Yes.
Does it suck as a truck? Also yes.

I've had to help my FIL work on this thing off and on over the last few years. Still hasn't let me drive it. But I'm kinda okay with that. He did a full powertrain swap from a 2010 Camaro SS though, so it hauls ass

Okay, you got me here. Honestly I'd never even looked it up online to see specs of it and from the few I've seen around town I always thought cover was a hatchback. I stand corrected, it is a bed, with a retractable cover.

One question though, if it's not a hatchback how can the bed access the main cabin? The specs claim that you can fold the seats down and gain an extra 54 cubic feet of cargo space.

It's way more capable than I knew that's for sure. 2500 lb payload, and 11,000 lb towing capacity. Are you gonna leave it silver like my fridge, or get it tinted for a color?

I see many in Austin but yesterday I finally saw one not mall crawling or highway cruising but actually working pulling a medium sized home built looking kinda trailer - so someone does have a real use for one afterall LOL
