Below this picture is date from disc brake sheild, which i think indicates when truck came off assembly line Feb 17,2024 at 1:06pm. Also I found the second picture of sticker below black engine cover top of my 2024 tundra trd off road, maybe it is the engine build date it seems to be either Feb. 12, 2023 or Dec. 02,2023? I don't know which date order toyota uses. Any help greatly appreciated. IMG_20240711_125145982.jpg

Check the sticker on the door jam and that will give you the truck build date. Was discussed previously that the motors are built about 10 days prior to being put into the trucks.

The door jam gives month and year.
Anyone know how to get the day of month?

Call Toyota corporate and give them your VIN, they will give you the exact date. Mine was 3/18/24.

I am wondering if this matches the date shown on the front disc brake sheild... on your tundra.

Has anyone checked their date on their tundra front brake sheild, from a very old threadd I was lead to believe it is close to date truck came off assembly line.

Dealership service department can do a VIN search on their TIS system and will give production date including day of the month completed vehicle rolled off of assembly line. Most individual components were most likely assembled in the few days prior to final assembly. Consistent with Toyota's "Just in time" production strategies and parts deliveries to the final assembly facility.

@macmoose Ok, if I remember correctly, this label on top, 021223 is the build date of engine, the next number is maybe the serial number. The V35A-K83 is engine type, & the 020 is engine configuration.
The bottom label is sequence number off the line.
I retired from a Toyota Powertrain department a few years ago. Labels are slightly different now, & we didn't build this current engine configuration, but that should be right.

As far as axle backing plate label, it is when that axle unit was built, maybe or maybe not the exact date truck was built, but very very close. Hope this helps even a little.

if you can get a status update during delivery you can get someone to give you a screenshot from dealerdaily of production date. not sure if dealer can pull this up after the sale.

this was our 23 tundra when it was put into QC hold
