Yes, just going to want to swap out the trim piece that goes under the headlights of you go from 03-06 to 00-02.
If going from 00-02 to 03-06 you could either swap the piece for two pieces or get out the sawzall. Hoods are the same. Bumpers will bolt up, etc etc.
Turn signals are slightly different in how they mount. Fenders should be the same. Headlights differ but will mount up still.

Options are good, and actually in your best interest, in everyone's best interest. Hate it all you want, but just know, it's good for everyone. So many infrastructure and manufacturing jobs hanging in the limbo on all this EV stuff, and if we don't adopt it, China is going to own every last bit of it, which is going to further tank us as a nation. They're taking everything. Even if you don't want it, support the technology, because we need to be the ones to harness it, prefect it, and build it out, not them. We've gotta get our heads out of our asses on this one. I will NEVER own one, but I support it because I know it's what we need. The infrastructure jobs alone ...

After looking at the two hoods in person, I'm not really sure. I wanted to get a 2000-era grille and under-brow to test on my truck, but while I was looking, the Waltrip grille dropped in my lap. So I'm gonna rock that for a bit, while I continue casually looking for the latter.

If you confirm 100% it'll work, please document. I'd really love to see how bad/hard it is. I fully intend to keep my plastic bumper skin, but what the under-brow and grille of the earlier years. I'd actually love to have an earlier-year underbrow and an earlier year Sequoia grille with two bars.

that’s what I thought. Thanks! Yeah I knew about the headlight filler trim just wasn’t sure if the opening in the hood was the same.

Can’t say for sure if I’m going to run the factory bumper yet. Probably will save the coin for a tube bumper. I like the 03+ grill, but I think the 00-02 front end looks the best.

I'm more curious about what needs to be removed to install the under-brow, how to install the under-brow, which should work with the plastic or steel bumper with its plastic cap, and what's involved with swapping in the ovular plastic grille insert.

I'm curious if you'll find there's missing brackets and/or diff't bolts and shit.

so I’ve seen the 00-02 bumper with an 03+ grill. I’m willing to bet you just need the grill, headlight filler and after looking at blksnk’s truck I think it’ll just bolt right up no issues.

tell that to Cali. Residents. A mileage tax is being talked about due to the loss of fossil fuel tax income. The lack of charging stations, repair staff for these charging stations. And the power strain it has on the overall infrastructure. I'm not super savvy in electricity. But doesn't it require more power to charge batteries the more I add on? So I can't think of a viable solution to get more power to power these charging stations. More nuke plants? But doesn't that compromise the whole point of going mass ev in the first place?

I dont know, trying to figure out the overal big picture and the trickle effect is has is a slippery slope

Cali actually has a surplus of power due to the popularity of solar panels, so sourcing power isn't the issue

See, I want that grille, but in Limited paint-matched, and the underbrow, but with my plastic lower bumper cover. I think it'll work.

But I'd prefer the similar-shaped Sequoia grille with two bars, paint-matched.

I'm sorry dude, but I'm not going to throw away the prosperity and future of my country over a miniscule ass tax. Bigger picture, bro.

Dunno if you saw, but this week, stuff got passed to open the floodgates on nuclear. You might not have heard about it in the media, people are focusing on other bullshit as usual.

The overall "big picture" is, China will own this, and with that, they will ultimately own us. I know people hate the term "green energy" or "clean energy", but the reality is, whoever drives the bus on deploying the tech in their region, will ultimately continue being the major superpower for the next 30-50 years. If we let China have that giveaway, guess whose manufacturing and innovation will suffer, atrophy further, as China continues to grow?

EDIT: Think about it. If we make this, we pay us, money stays here. If China makes it, we pay them, we lose out. That's the tl;dr on it. We MUST stop being fucking idiots about energy initiatives. People are letting the media fuck us all for the next 50 years by making people hate/scoff at/worry about new energy tech. We gotta wake up and look at the bigger picture.

Solar panels don't need clear skies to function. They even work on rainy days. And they're way more efficient in those environments today than 10 years ago.

I don't think I'm being an idiot or hating. But I do like full explanations and details. This debate has been going on for awhile and I don't think it's "bad" but how it's executed can wind up causing more problems than solutions.

then there's places like Alaska. (I know, exception, but still an issue that would have to get figured out). But this also brings up solar panel efficiency. Yea they still work, but they don't create as much power during cloudy vs. sunnier days. Then we have power storage in the home.

    install of the panels.

do I get this for free???? Cause that sounds like a lot of labor cost and last time I checked. Our govt. doesn't really give out anything "for free"

I don't think I was calling you either, but on the topic at hand ...

Solving problems creates jobs. No system works inherently flawless right out of the box. But if you sit on your hands and let someone else figure it out and beat you to the finish line with any functional system, you just fucked yourself, by fighting it and/or delaying and/or debating and/or allowing special interests (like fossil fuel industry) talk it down, push unfactual propaganda, because they're worried about less profits. Then you've gotta pay someone else to deliver because you're behind. Not good.

Alternative energy is happening, the momentum is too high. How we react nationally to that momentum will seal our fate and the fate of our economy, totally independent of people's feelings on the topic. My fear is, we're already behind China on this, theyr'e focusing all their energy into it, and deploying their energy solutions all over the place, using Africa as a test bed, and are honing it in. That could've been us. We're already missing out, and I give it 5-10 years before it's too damn late. We can get back on top of it, no doubt, people need to wake up and step above the media bias and propaganda.

Do interstates make the gov't any money? No, but we spent trillions to build them, knowing it would make the country thrive. They weren't perfect at first, but we honed it in.

Just one of dozens of examples I could rattle off if I wasn't cooking dinner.

arguably they do? Since we have use fuel to use the interstates and the fuel we use is taxed. We also have to pay taxes on a number of things involving the use of our vehicles.

I would argue that the $ spent on building the interstate is minuscule compared the $$ coming into the govt. for us using the interstate. Cause that requires a vehicle.

Edit: I'd also like to add I don't disagree with you. We do need better sources of energy but I think the issue is inherently SUPPPERR complicated.

I still can’t figure out the brakes on my truck.

I bled the brakes. And then I bled them 6 more times. And then I bled them 3 more times but with a vacuum bleeder.

    No change.

Made an appointment at the mechanic. I’m done.

I have a buddy fighting the same issue. Think he’s going to replace the caliper hard lines like I did and see if it helps. Keep yall posted. When I did mine it felt like like it had a big brake kit on it grabbed so well.

Dang that's `bout as lucky as you can get.
I just had my last 5 trees cut down. Nothing taller than rose of sharon going forward. Well, the pile of mulch from what came down is taller than the garage, but tall berms make good neighbors.
