I've been in the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River in July. It may be better than Shenandoah but even on a raft it wasn't fun. I think I may have swam more that I sat in my boat. I'm a weirdo though. Once it hits mid 70's I fell like a witch in water, I just start melting.

Well shit, you could've had green thunder. How far you willing to drive for it? Max price range? This is a great idea. You won't need the rtt just slap a shell on it on sleep back there. No setup, no breakdown.

New Mexico 1 owner vehicle. Just listed. For the mileage, I'd consider this fairly priced compared to trucks with way more mileage at higher prices.
    https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/719640297?driveGroup=AWD4WD&endYear=2021&listingType=USED&makeCode=TOYOTA&mileage=60000&modelCode=TUNDRA&newSearch=true&numRecords=25&referrer=/cars-for-sale/awd-4wd/toyota/tundra/cody-wy?endYear=2021&mileage=60000&newSearch=true&searchRadius=100&startYear=2018&searchRadius=100&sortBy=relevance&startYear=2018&clickType=supplemental

edit: after a bit more research you'll be hard pressed to find a 1 owner lower mileage truck for that close to 40k. Consider my finders fee waived. You can stop through on your way home and we can have a beer. Check that, I'll drink a beer and pour you whatever you want.

Max price depends on what I can realistically get out of my Taco IF I were to trade it.

That mileage at that price I would almost bet money that it's a salvage/branded title. It's also a completely bare bones SR5 truck. I'm not willing to go bare bones because my previous Tundra wasn't bare bones either.

    Dealbreakers:
    1. Cannot be black, tan, rootbeer, and prefer not white because of Toyota's history of problems with the color
    2. Must be 4x4
    3. Must have 38 gallon tank
    4. Cannot be lifted, have tires larger than stock, or aftermarket wheels unless price is heavily discounted for the skewed mileage and the cost of restoring to stock
    5. Must be CrewMax or be priced incredibly low... DC look goofy to me.
    6. BSM is a must unless significantly cheaper than similar trucks with it. Most I've seen are not any cheaper with or without it, so it'd have to come out of the price somehow.
    7. Power driver seat
    8. 50K miles at absolute maximum. Prefer 40K or less.
    9. Hate a sunroof in the Tundra
    Strong Preferences:
    1. Color preferences in no particular order; Celestial Silver, Cement, Cavalry Blue, or Windchill Pearl. I could hold my nose and buy MGM if the price were right and everything else was perfect.
    2. Factory bedliner preferred unless owner has info/warranty on aftermarket.
    3. Prefer softex over leather, but fine with cloth too.
    4. Prefer grey interior to black
    5. Prefer color matched or black door handles and mirrors

I can afford to be picky because I have a higher value trade vehicle and I don't need to trade it. I'm purely in the exploratory phase and honestly dreading the ration of shit I'll get from everyone I know about it.

@OldGuy03 here are a few that I am looking at.

    https://cars.ksl.com/listing/9348398

    https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...eStyleCode=TRUCKS&zip=82939&clickType=listing

    https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...eStyleCode=TRUCKS&zip=82939&clickType=listing

That last one I can't tell if it's a TRD Off Road with some color matching done, or a basic SR5 with the LED lights added after. Tried signing up for the buyers thing on autotrader to message the guy, but it fails. Only thing it'll let me do is submit an offer, and that doesn't work for getting questions answered.

Everybody has their desired truck for certain reasons. I am exact opposite of you, can't or won't ever own a crewmax, as I think they look silly with that tiny bed.

The truck I sent you is a clean title, no accidents or damage reported. I'd never send a salvaged title to anyone. Have fun contemplating the upgrade and end up making the decision based on your needs, not what we will give you shit over. We can find lots of other reasons to give you shit no matter what you do.

The proportions of a DC are tolerable for me to an extent, but the rear door handles... :puke: However, if you look, the first truck I linked is a DC because the price is right for the trim and mileage.

Oh, not people on here. The internet isn't real and nothing here matters. I mean family and friends that I can't hide the vehicle from. I could always just say I decided to keep the Taco forever on here and no one would be able to disprove it. Family will see me show up in a bigger truck if I do this. LOL

First one is a dbl cab, (which I love), second one is white, last one is already sold when I follow the link. At least call the new Mexico dealer and get answers, instead of making assumptions. You're looking at trucks with 3 times more miles at higher prices.

I ran the VIN on Toyota.com. I'm not working on assumptions, I'm working from factory specs.

First is a doublecab, yes, but with the shell and price it's not bad.

Second truck is windchill pearl, not white. I know, can't tell in a pic, but it's different.

Third truck being gone explains why I couldn't message him. What a bummer. It was a solid truck with 20K miles and a shell on it.

For the price with a shell that first truck is fairly priced for the limited trim. VIN specs show you the trucks details, carfax shows you the accident history. We're both right, but if you can't or won't do a stock sr5 than that truck isn't to your liking. Especially since it's white, even if it only has 15k in mileage.

Yeah, I'm kinda spoiled with LED headlights and I can't imagine going to less than the 38 gallon tank in the Tundra. I do appreciate the effort though!

Is the trailer the only issue?
A small aluminum motorcycle trailer or small enclosed trailer might tow better than that big sail

The truck has always vibrated a bit, so it may be a wheel balance issue, but it has never been so pronounced. I'll get it balanced and see if that solves it. As for a trailer, an aluminum trailer will be around $4K-$5K, plus I'd have to sell my current trailer. Likely only get $2500-$2800 for it. So total cost of $1200-$2500 on top of the new tires I'm eyeing. If I were to get a Tundra in a straight across type of deal, or hopefully with a little money back so I owe less on it that I do the Taco right now, then I just keep the trailer because the V8 gives no phuks. LOL

Not familiar with the brand, but I wouldn't get any brand with siding. Get something with Azdel construction. Stronger, lighter, better insulation, and will not rot.
