How do you install these type bed lights, what’s the power source and how to wire in etc? They work with other cabin / exterior door, rear lights or separate?

I ran power into my bed directly from the battery.

I was installing a 12V/USB receptacle as well as the strip lights (same ones you have pictured, btw... love 'em) and I wanted all of it to be constant hot without having to futz around with any other switches to energize the bed stuff.

I ran the same exact kit into my bed. I made a separate fuse panel under the hood and put a switch in the bed for them.

Very nice. I need to add light in my bed, using battery powered lantern now. A must before hunting season starts.

Yup agree for hunting season - looking for easiest setup with just a switch in the back I guess - other stuff seems complicated for this ole country boy. Cool bit more complicated.clap on clap off haha

Hey @chavey2, what kind of mat do you have on the bed? Looks like it is corrugated to match the bed? My dogs would appreciate that haha

It's the BedRug from RealTruck. Yes, it's corrugated on the bottom to match the truck bed, precut for all the notches, and is pretty much chemical proof. You can hose it off with water hose, vacumn it, etc. I had one on my previous truck that I loved, so I IMMEDIATELY bought another when I bought the Tundra (had it in before I got the bed cover!). And it is pretty soft - enough you can take a nap on it.
