Organized and purged the pantry this weekend. The shelves were overflowing and stacked to the ceiling. Added a lot of bins and things to help keep us stay organized. We are going to replace the chest freezer with an upright unit from Costco with drawers in a few weeks, so we will loose the 2 shelves.

The lesson is to get a speed queen from the start lol. We’re in a rental so no choice, but I did this once before at my parents house. It’s a mental battle with plenty of cursing

Also, saw quite the attractive lady driving a sequoia today.

I can see how he gets fired up tho.. seeing a woman pushing the skinny pedal of a 5.7 definitely gets the juices flowing :bananadead:

I was staring at my shed this evening, planning out tomorrow's work. The question then entered my mind.

Do I insulate the shed and sheet the interior walls or not?

The only thing I have temperature concerns of any kind for are jerry cans of gasoline. I'll be installing some vents in the walls, but I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble and expense to full insulate the shed as well.

I insulated and rocked my interior walls. What a difference it makes.

How many cuft is your existing chest freezer? Are you getting the ~$300 "11cuft" upright freezer with drawers from Costco?

We had a very small chest freezer (5cuft?) that was pretty much full to the brim. We replaced it with the popular one from Costco and I threw away a few old things from the chest freezer and everything fit barely in the upright, so that size rating is free space, not drawer space.
For the money, it's a nice freezer....but if I could do it over again, I think I would get an upright with shelves not drawers.
    Just something to think about.

    Good luck with that...o_O

Every time I have "Leftover's " from projects designated to "Finish" the garage interior Con finds another "Honey-Doo"..

Luckily we only have 2 seasons; Hot & HOTTER.... The window shaker keeps it cool enough to create a "Hide-out" room :anonymous: without insulation,

when I do finish it off my computer desk and mini fridge will be installed..:hattip:

Had some grass removed to extend the driveway to the gate and add gravel in the back after the gate.

The front door is wood and takes a beating from the sun. It’s warped and cracked in some areas.

We plan to replace with a nice steel door and I think we’ll use that opportunity to change the swing so we don’t open up into the wall

We have the same problem with a wood front door. In Colorado, the weather swings, dry climate really beats them up (same with wood windows). Just purchased a new rear door and front door. Both are fiberglass to handle the high temps and direct sunlight. We were going to use a steel door but was advised against that.
