Thanks everybody! I'm having a blast.

I still need to do the upper bag mounts and plumbing, Bias valve mount, and a whole bunch of welding. Then everything is getting some fresh paint.

Oh, and shocks. I somehow managed to order the wrong shocks....twice. Now a third set is on the way :rofl:I may just get started on the bed depending on how the rest of the week shakes out.

Plenty of room behind the axle for a 15-20 gal water tank and 3-5 gallon diesel tank for the heater.

Got one UCA swapped out this evening. Passenger side tomorrow morning. Was worried because I don’t have a ball joint press. Spent a good 30/45 min trying to rig a press with a gear puller.
Said fuck it and pulled out the torch and a 10lb sledge. Took less than 10 minutes.
**Lesson: if no special press available, apply heat and brute force.

I'm telling y'all, this guy is THE mad fucking scientist here. Watching him work was awesome, and hearing the plans was just insane. I'm in awe of what this man can do with metal. I'm looking forward to getting to swap that sequoia axle in when we can get to it. It'll definitely be WAY, WAY out of my comfort zone, but I have 100% faith in Jake. And Dale too, can't forget about Dale.

What is up with 'Yota and dicks? The water pump gaskets that look like dicks, or double shafted dicks, or the little pink dicks in the dash?

Axle doesn't look centered in the wheel opening to me. Did you install leaf pack backwards? No se.

    You're right.
I just remember seeing those dick n balls shaped gaskets on TW. There was a running joke where people were tasked with calling their local auto parts stores and asking the clerk to describe the shape of the gasket. Must've been for the 2rz or 3rz

    That's the unwritten rule.
Shiner, Lone Star, St. Arnold's, and Karbach are some of the finest beers Texas has to offer.
Any non Texas beers need not apply. Job is filled.

if someone pretends to want to drink their light beer when offered a shiner they're suspect & approved for heckling. Only gotta take one, but gotta take one. & dont sip it. chug it, degrade it, and go back to your bud light, you'll be welcomed.

Hey all, I posted this in a thread but just thought I would ask here. Anyone running a 2” lift using 6112 shocks on an Access Cab with SBC upper control arms?

Do you know someone here who has that I can message?

Bilstein says 1” maximum for AC on the 6112 but I know someone here has done it. Finally have them on the way

At first I thought you were degrading Shiner light blonde. I was going to say, SLB goes down pretty nice on a hot, beer drinking kinda summer day. Maybe in the river or pool or the beach.

Anti-rattle spring should be on top, the leading edge, no? Same with the pad with screamer, leading edge, outboard pad.

    upload_2024-7-9_17-0-26.png
FSM showing the screamer goes up, leading edge, outside pad only. Clip goes up, leading edge.
