I am contemplating buying the calipers (all 4) from a 2018 to put on my 2019 trd pro. Reason, I’m gonna paint red and it would be awesome to have a set ready when I do the work. Anything I should look out for when purchasing calipers from a part out?

    Alot of them
Looking for any leaks, contamination in the lines or frozen pistons is all I can think of.

They should get flushed very well when I put it all back together. Guess I could rebuild them. May look into that. Should be a pretty safe swap. I haven’t looked at part numbers but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t fit.

They shouldn’t be as they are still on the truck. I’m guessing I would have to pull them off.

Man. Probably cost a fortune to ship them to Houston. How much you looking for out of them?

I am at 77546 if you want to give me a shipping estimate. Happy to cover it.

How much $$? They aren't terribly expensive straight from Toyota. I bought a complete set when i bought my truck. The 4 piston fronts can have a tendency to stick as mileage gets up there. You can also buy rebuild kits for the fronts from Toyota.

All 4 for $100. I looked at new and recalled them being high. I will look again.

I mean they are more than $100... but they are also guaranteed to be good. Plus the online toyota site runs sales frequently for additional $$ off.
