I thought Toyota quit selling and supporting superchargers. They should have told you this before purchase.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
You can supercharge just not under warranty and will cost a little extra. But with the discontinuation of the supercharger it is unknown if you can still get them installed by Toyota.

Have you considering going back to the dealer to bitch a lot and then drive off with a non flex fuel? At least it would be easier to deal with SC upgrade. Warranty is totally out of the picture now unless your dealer has some remaining SC's. Hennessey is about the only other alternative for SC's but not sure if Hennessey will do a flex fuel. I hate flex fuel. It needs to go away.

Call these guys. They sell brand new super charged cars and trucks still covered under mfr warranty. Flex Fuel is another story. They can give you the straight scoop about an upgrade that won't affect warranty. All it has to do is meet or exceed mfrs' OEM part per Magnusson-Ross Act of 1975: http://www.hennesseyperformance.com/

2014-toyota-tundra-with-hpe500-supercharged-upgrade-by-hennessey-performance-(11.jpg Hennessey HPE500 super charger for Tundra (Same Eaton designed SC only difference is Hennessey software and SC fit kit is a little different)

I didn't know mine was a flex fuel until after I bought it too. I always thought there was a little badge on the tailgate stating it. Mine didn't have a badge so I thought it wasn't. Wasn't until I joined this forum and there was a thread about it that I found out. Toyota got a little sneaky taking those badges away.

Should be a notice on the gas cap and maybe under the hood.

Nobody. heh heh. There should have been something about engine type on the dealer window sticker. It's one of those things that you need to make the dealer aware of first whether you want a Flex or non Flex. Makes no difference for most folks I guess.

Yep, Didn't really even look at the sticker other than the price tag. :anonymous: I was so excited about getting the truck. Really makes no difference for me, NO way would the wife let me spend 6K on a SC right now.

yep bank account is running low from it..
Flex fuel can be supercharged. Unichip makes one for the tundra. you have a 2015 model, i dont think since the s/c has been dropped the guys over at unichip will support the 2015+ models. I could be wrong. I know one for sure TRD PRO flex fuel it was supercharged. He is on this board.

Dont blame toyota for the flex fuel system. Blame the EPA and the stupid dealers for ORDERING them to start.

They sold the truck with full tank so no way i could have know...a service advisor from my dealership called me few hours ago and said they would have love the work to install the supercharger but if the 5th letter in my vin is a 'W' then it's flex..I told him where's all the badges that say it...he said in the beginning when flex just starting they badged all auto flex fuel now they don't do it..so when the full tank ran out today guess what I saw on the fuel cap smh...if I didn't have lifetime warranty on the engine, trans and 4x4 I would have just went ahead and do it, for now I will just enjoy the 3xx hp :/

You have plenty of HP's. There are other ways of getting much more HP's if you really think you need it.

Sparks Toyota in Mytrle Beach, SC will install the supercharger and Unichip on a FF.
There are still some superchargers left but they are getting scarce.

We are one of the top sellers for superchargers, Toyota accessories and genuine Toyota OE parts. Micah or myself are knowledgeable with these superchargers.

Not as of now. Cross your fingers, we are hoping to get some more in from Toyota in the next week or two. I can't confirm an exact date, but when we get them, we will post up here about them.
