I saw this on the local Nextdoor site and it got a lot of responses. What was your first concert?
For me it was Seals and Croft, first concert and first date. 1974

Big name bands my first was Warped Tour (2008 or 2009 I believe) when I was a young punk Marine living in California.

Had several friends in bands in high school we went to all the time, the Groove Reflex, Get Set Go, bunch of small time homies ha.

I used to have a collection like that. Somehow it got lost when we moved. I was on travel when we moved.

I had a box full of concert t-shirts from the 80s and early 90s.
It somehow disappeared when a live-in GF and I split up years ago..:eek2::oops:

It's a bummer now that there are no more paper tickets, EVERYTHING is on your phone..:(

Saw the Who back in the 80's. Freaking loud as expected. The only band that evens gets close is ACDC. Saw ACDC in Osaka. For Those About to Rock tour. 1982

When I first got hearing aids the audiologist said shipyard, guns and rock and roll. I don't think she was wrong.

I’m fairly sure that this tour was the first time any band did that destructive thing of shattering guitars on the amplifiers and using the microphone stands as clubs. It kinda went ‘viral’ , although that was not the terminology for it at the time! Sure did make an impression on my alcohol saturated, drug impaired, teenage mind, lol

Sadly, it wasn't until after Jason had left the band. It was a great venue and they did a good show.
