No I think he knew that... I, on the other hand, just thought they stuffed random bags in the boxes and would open enough to get the parts I need for each step as I go. I would always end up w/a giant freakin' mess

 

I had an accident two months ago that resulted in some extended bed rest. In an attempt to avoid losing my mind, I bought a few car sets to build while I was laid up. I figured I would share for those interested.

Even though they are not Lego, these generic sets are great quality and I have no negatives to share.

 

can you link where you bought those; I am intrigued!

 

I am pretty sure I got these off Amazon, but will verify later. I was so impressed by the brand that I bought a discontinued GT40 from another website to build with the kids. No co communication from the vendor after I purchased it. No email, nothing. And then about 5 days later this showed up in my mailbox

Awesome: thanks. I have quite a few of the Nifeliz kits and have been impressed

 

They are on the same level as Lego. The cost is also much easier to stomach and the size just right (~1:14). I bought the latest one (GT40) on sale for $32 shipped.

 

Doesnt Lego make that same Lambo for $20? I'm guessing these are bigger scale?

the Lego version is 262 pieces and the other version is 1349 pieces…..the Lego is very small and not very much detail. The other is huge and a lot of detail

I will say, as owners of a lot of the Speed Champions series, looking at the build and detail the off brand has, I like them a bit more. Everything is smoothed out.

Eh, I'm not a big Technic guy. I get they are more detailed, but they are also missing things, like windshields.

 

Well, there are no windshields on F1 cars......

My son just go this one yesterday that he's been working on. Doing it with a fracture wrist as well. Glad that is slowing him down a bit.

I had no idea that existed. Tried to get it for my daughter’s Birthday on the 1st but it was listed as a 60 day back order on Lego.com. Every other place I found it had the price jacked up. Somehow I randomly found it at LEGOLAND in New York. Just arrived today

 

It's a cool build. we got one for Liv when it came out, because her cat (Chonk Chip) looks just like it.

We order a lego set for my 19 year old daughter every Christmas; I placed the order through lego.com and will wait until it comes back around. As long as it is here for Christmas, I am good. hahaha
