When ordering a bed in a box do you wait as long as the manufacturer says before laying on it?

Whatever this forum told me to do
    Houston weather will be typical.

high 90's's thru Friday. >80% humidity.

then, a few days of torrential rain from Beryl's dirty side.

    then, Africa hot.

I will be soaking in the pool & Lake.

Wonder if that was a flood car that was totaled. Look closely at the pictures, there is a lot of water stains on the carpet and seats. Look at the second picture on the passenger side, there is a reflection from the windshield down by the dash airbag area the looks like what they write on the windshield with a wax crayon when they total a vehicle and it's waiting to be picked up.

Looks like yours has made a good recovery also! Good deal!

Mine is a rescue from the Indian Reservation and she is scared to death when we have to leave her anywhere or she has to she a vet. They gave us some pills that mellow her before the operation and it works pretty good. Gabapentin is what they prescribed her

It was the lower jaw and it made one tooth have to be removed. The problem was removing it without compromising the fracture and it worked. They seen 2 small teeth in the front were loose to the point it concerned them so they pulled those 2 as well. Nothing for eating, they are tiny so she seems back to normal this morning. She does not show pain, she is a rock

Maverick is on 3 painkillers with this TPLO surgery.
2 weeks and he thinks the 6 screws in his bone holding a plate to keep his knee together are healed.
We've got 10 weeks to take it easy to go.

Not his x-ray, but what he has in his leg.
We did the other leg a year ago.

For a normal vet visit, he has to take Trazadone and Gabbapentin the night before and the morning of.
We bought/rescued him from a crackhead selling puppies in a Walmart parking lot.
That's her in the background gnawing her teeth and smoking one cigarette after another..

    Yikes... That's crazy :eek2:

I've seen slab fractures, the K9 teeth snapped in half, etc... from biting on hard objects or snappin' a tooth in bite equipment.... but I've never seen a case w/the jaw itself actually broke, and some of our dogs are slamming into people at 25-28mph when biting.

I'm glad she's through the procedure and on her way to healing up. Hopefully, no infections or other complications. The good thing is the mouth is one of the fastest healing portions of the body for our pups

For us west coast people that have found themselves out east, rumor has it that Sheetz tacos are almost the same as Jack tacos. Haven’t tried them personally yet though.

The details and workmanship they put into dogs these days are incredible. I'm constantly telling my wife that I'd prefer to be treated by our vet over people Drs 99% of the time, as I think we'd get better care.

Fracture and broke are two entirely different things and it was a fracture with one tooth chipped to the point it had to be pulled. The 2 tiny teeth in the front were removed because they said if they didn’t they would have to remove them later. I would rather pay once so got it done.

Her sister (another rescue not related) can start running towards the gate and my other (Kota) can be laying down aimed in the opposite direction and she can get up and pass her sister and she has her head turned at her sister growling and barking. When we put our chairs down to prepare for the monsoon’s they bump into one another and occasionally run into the chairs. We ended up putting pool noodles on the chairs for protection

Yeah, my bad; poor choice of words. I'm not sure why I typed broke, cuz I meant fracture... Old age probably :notsure:

Great idea w/the pool noodles though

If we don’t put the chairs down like they are the wind can pick them up and launch through the windows. I have a cable under the table and fished through all chairs. If it is coming up the entire table and all 6 chairs goes with

The new sweater I ordered had a lot of static, so I called the company to return it.

They offered to send me a new one, free of charge.
