Please post up a trip report. I'm really partial to the Toyo Trail RT because both Land Cruisers have Toyo MT's but the
    Tundra is a different animal.

Extremely pleased with how these handled Moab. Took them down to 13psi for Hells Revenge and couldn’t believe the traction both climbing and descending.

Good news - we went at 6:30am on a Monday to avoid the crowd and had the place entirely to ourselves. Bad news - that prevented me from attempting Hells Gate since no one to winch off and no one playing in the hot tubs.

I probably wouldn't have attempted it all alone neither.

Looks like a whole lot of fun there, though!

The thought of having to try and back down made it a “no”

Haha. I've never been there, only seen videos. It looks STEEP in videos, and I'm sure they do it no justice.

It’s steep and then the V you’re straddling is steep too so one screwup on the steering can make things go from bad to terrible fast.

Well, been looking hard. I found a new set of wheels arriving in a day or two. Could have got same style as yours or more
like the Rock Warrior or whatever they are called and liked that 5 spoke better.
Your review of these tires I think has made my mind up. I really like Toyo, been driving on them exclusively for over 12 yrs,
but they are not a winter tire. Here on Vancouver Island, the BFG are the winter tire of choice since they 'stick' better
than almost any others on our wet, slush/icy roads. Only Duratracs seem to be stickier but at the cost of economy
and longevity. Leaning heavily on the 305/70R18. Bit taller, bit wider. J

While I’m loving my choice - reach out the the guy on YouTube that’s done multiple reviews on them to be certain. There is almost zero siping which would have me concerned in your climate but the guy I’m referring to uses them on a plow truck so he would be great to ask.

Here is the 8.5 month 9,000 mile update -

I’m 100% satisfied with these tires for my truck. They are measuring 15-16/32” for tread (spec new is 18/32) and are wearing evenly.

They are by no means quiet or light - but they’ve taken some punishment and a bunch of highway miles and still look almost new. Almost no chunking and they’ve stayed balanced.

More wash / desert cruising. Tires continue to impress in the off-road traction department.

15k mile update - they got to touch some snow last month when we went up the mountain after a storm - also had a minor incident in Hooter Alley near the Gila River that debeaded one for a short period of time but by the time I was able to pull over about a half mile it had reseated and was holding 8psi. That's a long story but it wasn't the tires fault.
    :anonymous:

Tires are still heavy but are wearing great and providing good traction. All 4 measuring 13/32. Should be able to get 40-50k miles at this rate.

I do get a tiny bit of wheel shake around 60mph - in for a balance and rotation today to see it that solves it. #tee2essprep

These tires continued to impress at Tundras to Sedona - took harder lines on Broken Arrow and never spun a tire. Also turned in my two fastest times ever at Go Fast Friday.
