Yes, when the manufacturer offers an APR under the prime rate. When you see them selling for 1.9%, 3.9%, even 4.9% now they are covering some of the interest for you in essence.

 

That's interesting because normally they sell with a slightly higher rate so they can get their kickback from the issuing bank. At least with used cars. Maybe new is different then.

 

New could be and most likely is a promotion by the manufacturer.

 

Keep looking and here is to hoping. I bought mine on carvana, one owner with 21,000 miles on it last month for the same price as the one listed. Mine is a 1794 fully loaded with the chrome wheels which I plan to change out, toyota tonneau, TRD skid and rear sway bar from factory and the sunroof. I understand it gets frustrating looking and then bam it it gone. I found mine just as I refreshed the page and there it was. I jumped on it and Carvana 7 days trial is great.

 

New trucks seem to start at 60k these days. You are looking at the mid to upper trim levels of a slightly used truck. Being priced 10k under a new model year comprises of a 16% difference in price from new to used. Not sure what percentage gap from new to used you feel the used market should be at but this seems legit. Not to mention most new trucks seem to be in the mid 60s to Low 70s.

New Durmax Silverado should be something you look at in addition to your Tundra hunt.

Also, look at SR5s. Ad leather seats for 4k aftermarket and a new head unit for 2k and you have the same bells and whistles but more modern/new.

 

Mines going up for sale in 3-4 weeks, Carvana's offer of 37K just boggles my mind. Can't be much meat on the bone left for them @ that price. I'm sure I can get 45K PP sale but they must be counting on financing or something.
