Hey all, I recently installed a TTunes amp adapter Harness, Line Out converter, Kicker 4-Channel amp, Mono Sub Amp and 10" L7 Solo Baric along with replacement Kicker door speakers, tweeters, center.

I first installed the adapter harness from TTunes, Line Out Converter and The 4 Ch. using the stock speakers and not including the sub / mono amp. I have power and everything to my amp etc. all wiring and connections have been triple checked. The problem is, I have no audio. I have been digging into this for days and cant settle on anything.

The amp is 2 ohm stable so 2ohm / 4ohm is fine for it.

I've tried different RCA cables, adjusting all gains etc. different amp settings, disconnected all line in and line out connections after verifying all connections were 100% correct 3 + times. I did eventually install the door speakers, tweeters, mono amp and sub but still no sound.

I had hooked one speaker up directly to the output of the amp with speaker wire (bypassing the factory wiring) and got audio from it. I turned the truck off and hooked everything back up and no sound again. I have tried the single speaker bypass thing again and no audio.

Not really sure where to go from here.

    Any thoughts?? Bad LOC?

    Thanks for any insight!

I'll include some pics of the setup in case anything jumps out at someone.

I would get on Amazon and get a LM2020 oscilloscope they are like $86 Several videos on youtube on how to use this tool. It is really easy to use.

I would play some test tones and measure to see if you are getting a good signal going into the LOC from the head unit.
If you are getting a good clean signal going into the LOC then measure the voltage and signal going out from the LOC.

Work your way down the chain head unit to LOC, loc to amps, amps to speakers.

I also use the LM2020 to set my amplifier gains and to test for distortion in the system. It is a almost must have to me for audio tuning. It is also a good Multimeter.

I would start with this quick test first.
A quick test to see if it is the headunit or LOC.
    Bypass them.
Unplug the rca cables from the LOC going into the amplifiers
Get a cheap 3.5mm aux cable to male y split rca. They are around $8 on amazon.
If your phone does not have 3.5mm output you can get a usbc to rca or Lightning to RCA , what ever your phone output is.
Play music direct to from your phone or ipad into the amplifier inputs. If you are getting music, then the problem is something wrong in up line ,,,,,,,the LOC or headunit.

If you are not getting any sound this way there is a problem with the amplifier wiring.

Side note. The voltage from a phone or ipad is not high, You will probably have to adjust the gain on the amplifiers up some to get sound on the amplifiers. I would start with the amplifier gain all the way down and turn up a little at a time. You are just trying to get sound out of them, we are not setting the amp gains at this stage. We are just seeing if we are getting signal coming out of the amplifiers going to the speakers

If you are not getting sound from the amplifiers playing With a direct signal from your phone or ipad unplug the speaker leads from the amplifiers and test if you are getting a signal from the amp without the speakers plugged in. I use a multimeter or the lm2020 oscope to do this. You can play test tones into the amplifier from your phone and measure voltage coming out of the amplifier without the speakers plugged into the amplifier.
If you are getting signal coming out of the amps but the speakers are not playing when hooked up then the speakers are wired wrong on the amplifiers.

Pm me if you have any questions.

I know you mentioned triple checked the wiring.. but I would run through one last time. without seeing the exposed wires outside of the flex loom in the pics, not able to tell which input/output wires are feeding what. On a side note, good looking amp install!

I agree and would dare say the input & outputs are swapped.

Hard to tell from this low-res picture.. but if I read correctly, the harness to the right in your picture is labeled as "To Amp - Speaker Output" .. I believe those are what need to feed your LOC as "inputs".

In the diagram below.. the speaker wires that are labeled as "Input" are the sound signal coming down from the Entune HU, to feed the OEM Amplifier (removed) and now your LOC.. The labeled "Outputs" are going out from the Kicker Amp and feeding your door speakers.

Clear as mud, right!? Run through these input/outputs again and reassure you have them correct.

Does the TT setup cover the dash speakers?
I mean did you have to run speaker wire to the dash speakers?
The dash speakers run straight off the Entune HU.
You should still have sound out of them.
    No sound out of them?

Thanks for the replies guys! I guess I should've updated this sooner.

There are two additional purple input wires that come off the TT harness that are doubled up with the wht / blk - wht wires out of the connector. I assumed that these should be tied to the other purple / purple blk wires going into the LOC. I was wrong. Apparently these two additional purple wires are for something related to the TT amp / sub setup and are not required if using an aftermarket amp. They should just be cut and capped off. Once I figured that out bam, full audio.

Once I got things dialed in it sounds excellent. The best upgraded stereo I've done in any of my vehicles.

I still have a couple more tweaks but for now its fantastic.
