Extended Warranty

Not sure who Troy is and who added him to the mix but Jerry is rock solid for me. Smooth transaction and great pricing.

 

I second this, I contacted Troy and he cant provide a warranty for California and still waiting to hear back from Jerry.

 

I received my Platinum from Troy with no issues. Jerry would never return my calls and emails so I went with Troy.

I wonder how many warranties Jerry sells. It's got to be at least a few dozen a day. Sorry to hear some have a hard time reaching him. I think if you email him the Make, model, year and what terms you are looking for, he response much quicker. I had my transaction completed three hours after I first contacted him. Two others I personally gave his info to also had a fast and smooth transaction.

 

I see there are people to talk to about extended warranties but there is no way listed to contact the people offering them.

Can someone pm me for my email address that sells Toyota official warranty and then I can get pricing. I am looking for a new Tundra. I bought a warranty from Jennifer with my 2019 but she did not respond to an email that I sent to her at Lexus of Ann Arbor.

Is it known if the price for the Gen3 extended warranty is impacted with the NHSTA engine recall? I searched this thread and did not find any comment about this.

 

It didn’t seem to while I was shopping around. Plus it doesn’t matter right? If you have the extended warranty or not, you still get the repairs paid for.

 

Depending on the remedy for the recall, the underwriter for the extended warranty may evaluate additional risk remains after the manufacturer's warranty expires. In this case, the extended warranty price may need to be increased. Is this reasonable logic?

 

To clarify When we pull the vin and miles. We go off what Toyota Already knows about the vehicle, it seems the few of us who are on here can sell the Warranty from Toyota are all selling it at 200$ over cost. If someone is telling you they need to raise the cost because of said issues then id look elsewhere. If they raise the price because Toyota raised them that is totally different. We who sell these should not be taking our view on issues into the conversation of cost.

 

Thank you for posting this for me. He is 100% correct. I will go over cost with you and be straight forward with the process. Looking at cost from jerry its looking like a 200$ margin and I'm offering the same price but can sell in California as well as Nationwide with no restrictions

Yes, there is contact info for Jerry and Troy at FDWarranty posted several times throughout. The latest one I posted was on page 80. Just to check, I searched this thread on "contact" and got to the appropriate post (6th one down in the list) where another member quoted my post with contact info. Anyone could search "Jerry", "Troy", "FD" and get the same results. Remember after your search subject, remember to check "search this thread only" and "all pages" to get pertinent responses.

Hi folks, I am trying to lookup my 10 year extended warranty with Jerry at Midwest Toyota but I may be looking at the wrong online site. I checked my account with Toyota, but it doesnʻt show up. Is their a link to the paid warranty site?

“The Vehicle Service Agreement and the Prepaid Maintenance will not show up on the Toyota owner website. The dealers across the USA can look up your information in the corporate system. Any service you get on your Vehicle should show up under your history.“

 

Thanks, and what if a non-Toyota mechanic works on the truck and doesnʻt have access to the Toyota Dealer Corporate account?

 

How would a non-Toyota mechanic be reimbursed for warranty service under the normal 3/36 factory warranty? This VSA complements the factory warranty as an extension. The Toyota Financial Services VSA specifically calls out acquiring service from Toyota dealers (I use my dealer for service), but if you have further questions, you can check out the terms at https://www.toyotafinancial.com/us/en/vehicle_protection_plan/vehicle_service_agreements.html or send them an email at extracare@toyota.com.

If it is "Warranty Work" why wouldn't you not use a certified Toyota Mechanic and Certified Toyota shop? One not available? Sounds like if that is the case a person would be better off with one of those warranty plans advertised on TV.

Options. I will stick to having Toyota repair any and all work that is warranty. Other stuff - not so much.

 

if you are looking for prices you would need to give more info like what type of vehicle year and miles. between myself jerry and troy we are all selling the toyota warranty for 200$ over cost
