Looking to purchase a 24 Tundra soon and curious if most will say that TRD will soften the suspension? My camper is 7200lbs and a heavy tongue weight of around 1000lbs. I like the look of the TRD but will never be doing any off road with it. Don't want to purchase something that would end up hurting me in the end.

Appreciate any help or advice on this.

TRD is just an appearance package, really. TRD Pro has the slightly softer suspension.

Regardless, pulling that much weight, you should have a wdh and proper hitch setup anyway. So the difference in trucks is negligible.

My 2022 TRD OR limited doublecab with 6'5'' bed has the best towing spec. I tow a 27' airstream with no issues - specs very similar to what you propose. Just get a good anti-sway, weight distro hitch. We use a blueOX

Exactly what I use now, Blue Oz and I love it compared to the previous E2. I bet you have close to 1490 on payload with that double cab? This is the only thing I don't like about the tundras, I'm finding an average of about 1350 payload for 4x4. Going to be a huge drop coming from a F-150 with 1760 payload and me with a high tongue weight of 1000lbs and that is no water. Also pulling a 27'.... Cougar MLS.

Good to know about the pro being the softer. I'm considering the TRD OR
