I’m loving it. Rides great and felt a huge difference on the trails with these tires.
KO3s where not available in my size when I purchased so ended up with the KO2s

 

Well I FINALLY got to take the tundra somewhere it deserves. We spent a week as a family up in pagosa springs. We took some dirt fire roads to lots of fun places and got to exercise the 4wd. I didn’t take as many pics of the truck as I wish, but we had a blast. Wanted to do a little more off-roading, but without a partner to pull me out, my wife and kids in the truck, and no cell service, I didn’t want to take too many risks. Crazy how many first gens are in Colorado. They’re everywhere.

 

Awesome!!! Can’t wait to take my family up there too!

What winch did you go with on your coastal bumper?
I need a winch for mine.

How difficult was the install? Did you have to relocate the solenoid?

 

Yes, You'll see that I mounted it atop my bumper. I cut a slot in the top for the wires to pass through, and drilled some holes for mounting standoffs.

 

Oh, I completely ignored your first question. Sorry.
The install wasn't horrible. the front mounting hardware is a pain to get to though. There's a small access hole you have to install the bolts through. Once it's started though, not bad. I've done it a few times. You just need the right amount of contorting and patience.

 

Did some ditch pickle hunting today. Lake was low so had to navigate to a new kayak launch.

 

What's a ditch pickle? Crawfish?

Apparently it’s a common slang for large-mouth bass living in murky waters. I’ve not heard it around my parts but google had multiple entries for it.

 

I didn't know bass lived in ditches and tasted like pickles. I don't think I've ever had bass. You fry it?
