Finally got around to getting to the hardware store and getting PT wood to fix up the material the deck ripped off. Bought enough for the front, forgetting I have no plans to tear down the remaining peice as it is attached to the landing. So that is a later project.

But, got these closed up and was about to get on the ground and start rehanging the insulation when the sky opened up.

Pleased with the end architectural result of the door. Far cry from the mockup up of semi hidden in the wall

So our reno scope skipped the primary bath as we were going to do it later but primary room and closet (other side of bath) was to get flooring. Flooring guys got confused and they demoed our bathroom. But owner replaced it with a house grade tile that’s meh but at least better than the original

Broke in the new mower. Front and back lawns are the same size...only used one bar on the batteries.

Not home improvement but I finished putting the laminate floor down in our new to us rpod camper. I just prefer it over linoleum and it turned out great. Also chews some of the soft spots common with the styrofoam sag in thr high traffic areas

Sure it is! I write off the interest on my trailer and got a tax credit for putting the solar on it because it qualifies as a second home.

If it's good enough for the IRS it's good enough for me!

    Let's see some pics.

Got the old shed stripped down to the frame right before the storms came in. Now I'm looking at garage ready refrigerators since our old kitchen fridge in the garage froze up on the fridge side again.

Well my home improvement isn't a wife, so not sure how to top that one.

Pulled up some drain pipe and changed how it was hooked up, then pulled in a couple more 3" pipes (through an 8'x20' pipe). I then installed a hot tub drain.

    IMG_4806.jpg

Moved some boulders around for the wife's rock garden.

    IMG_4798.jpg IMG_4800.jpg

The other boulders I have will need to have a skid steer to move. Those are heavier than 1150 lbs.

Lights on a mower. Not a bad idea for those people that live in hot areas and mow early/late in the day.

I got some on my 54" ztr. They came with the seat upgrade package and I laughed at it. I not cut 2.5 acres around 7:30 at night into 8:30 or 9PM. Neighbors used to laugh when they see lights zipping across the back yard. Now they're slightly envious cuz I'm not sweating like crazy (if at all) while cutting now

Exactly. We see 105 or higher during the summer. So I start mowing when my backyard (east side of the house) is fully in the shade and then the front yard. By the time I'm 3/4 of the way done, I can use the lights. Hated breaking up my mows into two days.

Lol...my daughter loves pulling those kinda films off...promised her I'd let her take it off but she wasn't having any of the heat when I started mowing
