Hello everybody new to the forum. I am on my fourth set of warranty diverter valves.
I'm getting codes c1201 engine control system malfunction, ev control system malfunction.
    Code
P2438 Secondary Air Injection System Air Flow/Pressure Sensor Circuit High Bank 2.
I feel like I'm doing circles with these codes. I install the 4th new diverter valve. And months later I'm back to square 1. I thought I read somewhere that you can unplug certain things which will throw a check engine light but not necessarily be in limp mode, Right now I am stuck in limp mode and can't seem to erase codes. 4lo 4hi traction control.......lights on constantly. Any ideas/help much appreciated.

C1201, is an ABS code. I've lost ABS a few times, others it engages the bfds and all 4 wheels pulse brake.
A the injection codes. Look up a bypass on here. If you have to pass inspections then you will need to repair it.

Thx for the response, where should I start looking at far as the abs code?. Last time it was a wheel speed sensor but it through a code specifically for that. Should I start at the wheel end or at the ABS module?

This one is more of catch 22... May want to start at the abs module.. I did a zero point calibration with a paperclip and sent it. Went away for 6 months then came back haven't done anything with it since.. Drive like an old man now and maintain my distance, so I don't have to test the ABS.. Last time I carried too much speed, I skidded clear across the intersection. Its funny now, not so funny at that moment.

c1201 is a 'sympathetic' code to force the truck into 'limp' mode...

Generally speaking, once you've fixed the initial problem and cleared the P2438, you should be able to clear the c1201.

Thx for the response. Do the codes need to be cleared before the Hewitt system gets installed?
