Looking to get the TRD 3 inch lift in the future for my 2024. Looking at the best dealer in the PNW to get it done at if anyone else has done this. Near Burlington Washington. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Lots of stuff!
I think the TRD Kit is in a stop sale situation. So the dealership might not be able to sell it or install it. You might be able to get a third party shop to install the kit if you can get one.

I was looking at adding the kit to a 2023 and it was showing up on Toyota.ca at over $9,000 CDN. Yikes!

That’s good to know. May look at local shops or even Les Schwab. I’ve heard good things about them as well.

Thank you. I’ll have to check them out. Have you had anything done by them? Just making sure they are solid.

Yes they are great shop, I had them install a full Dobinsons lift kit there. They do lots of offroading vehicles. Toyota of Bellevue also has an offroad shop behind their main building.

Do you have picture of your truck with the lift? I’ve heard nothing but good things about dobinsons.

Oh for sure. This first photo is actually when I picked it up in their parking lot. Dobinsons are a very simple/reliable design, long term low maintenance. At least for Gen 2 tundras their spring rates are assuming you have a very loaded down vehicle in my opinion, so I opted for minimal 2.5” lift all around.

That looks great. Yes my setup would be Overlanding. So 2.5 might be great. Was leaning towards that or a 3 inch.

@Spiceman man if you aren't getting the 3" lift installed at the dealership to keep it under warranty and you go with an aftermarket install I personally think you would probably be money and much better performance ahead by buying aftermarket like Dobinsons, Eibach, Elka, Fox, etc.

Then buy your choice of UCA's, brake lines, etc. and probably be in it less than the 3" TRD lift with much better performance. You could probably spend less than the TRD 3" and still be ahead performance wise... I'm thinking something like Dobinson's IMS.

That’s what I’m thinking too. It’s not going to be any time soon and just doing my homework, but I’m definitely thinking about 3inch dobinsons. I’m pretty sure as long as I stay under 3 inch nothing will void the warranty. At least my dealer said it won’t as long as it’s professionally done. Thanks for the comment.

Keep in mind..... Unless its written down and notarized or signed by both parties you can treat anything a dealership tells you or says as a bold face lie.

How do you know a dealer is lying? or talking out their ass? Their mouth is moving........ask them to write that down and email that to you and I bet they won't.

Just sayin don't take what they say at face value.

I absolutely agree with you on this. That’s a very good point. I’ll have to keep this in mind.

Les Schwab won’t install anything that they do not sell directly to you
