I actually have a deposit on a new Tacoma Limited Hybrid with AVS. This truck has the options I am looking for and hopefully a more comfortable ride. I would not know that for sure because in my area there are exactly 0 of these cars on the lots. So, I put a deposit on one and hoped to get a test drive some day.

While I am waiting, the prices on Tundras have been dropping, and a 1.9% financing option has become available. I went and took a 1794 with iForce Max for a ride. Now that is a beautiful truck and the ride was amazing. This one had the TRD package. I want the iFrorce Max with the automatic side steps and the AVS and air bags. My guess would be that this option would ride even nicer or at least as nice.

The issue I ran into when I went to the dealer, is that there are no iForce Max Hybrids with the side steps and AVS anywhere. I seem to always pick the least available packages for some reason. The dealer said if I want that I would have to order it and the 1.9% is only promised through the end of the month. I would not get one by then.

Long story short, I am waiting to see if they extend the 1.9% to next month and then maybe switch my deposit from the Tacoma to the Tundra.

It's only for 36 months (if qualified) and then it shoots way up.

My plan is to pay it off early anyways, but have the option of a smaller payment each month if I have a month where money is a little tighter. I believe it may be as long as 48 months though.

Just an FYI...dealers set the interest rate and payment. Dont be afraid to tell them no. When I bought my 2013 they said $705 per month. I said hell no and they came back at $465.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Good luck getting into the Tundra you 're trying to get. Also remember that you can add some options yourself.
