Is there a specific reason you want to tap into an existing circuit and not create a new one?

I taped into the open one on the bottom of the diagram next to the 30 tow there’s a empty one but what happened what it left the backlit of the auxbeam on while the truck was off and it cause it to drain the battery so when I drive the automatic stop start would say unavailable battery charging all I want is is to put it where the truck turns off and so does the panel so it stops drawing the battery cause makes no sense why it would stay on while the truck is off

Most people want to be able to run their accessories (lights included) without the key in the ignition - do those lights have a dual switch to control the backlight? See diagram showing relay / 2 switches…

Honestly I’m not sure I’m a complete noob went of the video I watched on YouTube from mark brenner he made on adding a switch panel to the tundra which I followed and figured I messed up by giving the switch panel constant power but now it won’t actually shut off with the truck and it’s draining battery

These are the lights I got to add to the auxbeam BA80 but I can’t add it until I figure out how to fuse tap it into a fuse that turns on only when truck turns on and turn off when it turns off and I’m not sure where the fuse is for it in that panel box

Watch this video - I think you’d want your backlight going to one switch and the primary light to a second. No need for any add-a-fuse that I see.

^ your other option would be to tie the backlight into the parking light circuit if you want them always on when lights are on or to ignition on circuit so they’re always on when the key is on… maybe that’s what you’re trying to do?

Did the kit come with a wiring diagram? If you post that we'll be able to help a little better. From what has been discussed, without knowing the type of switch the kit came with, it sounds like you need to tap into a switched circuit. That way the backlight will turn off with the vehicle, however, that also means you will not be able to turn the lights on with the vehicle off.

Some people are picking up the wire going up to map lights but couldn't pinpoint which one because there is a plug and pray harness i believe from diode dynamics to have floor well lights.

Take a multimeter to your fuse box and hit them all to see which are hot only when the truck is on. Then use those

If you try to setup a switch panel using a small gauge add-a-fuse things won’t go well.

Yeah started malfunctioning my safety feature stuff and said go visit the dealer so I ended up returning the auxbeam I’m just gonna get a garmin switch panel a bit expensive but don’t have to deal with all this cause this was the hardest thing I’ve done to this truck

How many amps you used for that. The adapter already has 5A fuse and I just don’t know how many amps for the second fuse

I used 5 amp because that was the smallest I had. These LED lights don't need hardly any power.

I tried and it worked. On when vehicle is on an off when vehicle is off. Thanks a lot

Anytime you're wanting at add a circuit, I would suggest using a relay with it's own fused power feed. Let the fuse tap just trigger the relay.
