I was curious if anyone knows why the front turn signal lens is amber yet the rear turn signal lens is clear. They both use amber lamps.

Probably just adds extra brightness to the front to counteract the effect of DRL or headlights

It's because the front signal and DRL are the same.

I believe so. My 2013 was. It was the 3157CK bulb.

The front turn signal/parking lights are, and so is your rear brake/parking light.

According to this, so is your rear turn signal:confused:
    Is that correct @Tundra234 ?

What I found out with paying more attention is that the front lens is clear, I messed that up. However, my SR5 DOES NOT have stock DRLs. I do have aftermarket DRLs.

I apologize for wasting your time with a non-issue. I just need to get the appropriate LED versions and load resistors for my turn signals.

Mine is Canadian and does have DRL, why I mentioned them. I'm also grateful for @Tundra234
clarifying it. The more we ask the more we learn. I've had mine 10 weeks, I've been out of the
country for 7 weeks, it's sitting in the shop out back without plates yet.
Gotta figure this stuff all out.
