Maybe. But mine isn't even as low as most CUV's, let alone normal cars. Just low for a truck. What's funny is the idiots who think by lowering it somehow also lowers the payload. Especially when I have 4x4 springs with wheelers AAL on mine.

How do the back doors 'know' theyre open? Where is switch, where is plug?

 

In the latch mechanism perhaps?

 

I didn’t think the early Land Rover utilitarian model had comfy seats back at that time. Pretty cool but I wouldn’t pay $32k for it.

 

Pulling the latch doesnt do it, neither latch pawl does it, the lever above the front door sensor doesnt do it.

Ive messed with the lever that disables the door handle on the back door (When the front door is closed)
I accidentally grabed the back door handle one day and it opened (when it shouldn't) and kinda bound shit up.
I had to shim out that lever about 3/16 to get it to disable that from happening like it should.
I don't think there is any "indicator" for that door being open all by itself is there?

 

there is. You can press or unplug the button to trick the truck to thinking the front door is closed, but nothing i've tried can trick the back suicide door. Its gotta be in the hinge.

 

my driver door is deactivated, and its tits for grabbing something without drawing attention, i need to deactivate the passenger side so i can leave those doors open while polo chills in the back seat. His side is the passenger side.

 

Why not just pull the door bulbs and flip the map lights and dome lights switches to "off"?

Yeah, so pop out the lenses and pull the bulbs. Hell you can even unhook the entire door light housing harness if you want.

Homeboy needs a $3k motorcycle. I'll tell him stories to convince him not to hurt himself. If he needs a truck, decent stuff is close to $5k.

 

But if you put LEDs in the dome and maps, you really don't need the door bulbs. Solves your dilemma by working smarter, not harder.
