Come on guys... can't forget about the Iron Sheik :turtleride:

His later video interviews (like right after he retired that should be still on youtube were freakin' hilarious)... he's definitely a sick f'ck!!!

    I was naming Texan wrestlers...

Sheik was badass, but from Iran.

My bad; that's what I get for just scanning and only reading a few posts out of an entire discussion...

PS>>> I'm pretty sure Sheik was from West Virginia

Nope, he was the Shah's body guard and an elite Iranian military wrestler before coming to America.
Wrestling is huge in the east.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
I was a young adult when wrestling became popular/more popular and I never got into it in the least bit. I actually loathed it with a passion, for being fake af. o_O:crapstorm:

I just saw a bunch of old school wrestlers listed and just added to the mix for further confusion.

Didn’t know Iron Sheik was a TX resident.

The trick to that is the comment to “reuse” the OEM bushing under the top hat. Can you even buy that separately if yours is deformed/torn?

When we put the Rough Country's that are in there now for the last owner we replaced them. And the truck was at 1975xx miles and we're just on very 218xxx now. I'm gonna reuse them. I don't recall there being anti binding ball bearings in there. But that was 4/ 4.5 years ago now.

I do know that just with the Bilstein supplied rubber isolators, you can’t get the dust boot on and get visible threads to put on the top nut. Either it’s gotta be compressed, reused or an alternate smaller isolator has to be used.

Sorry, I was wrong. It’s not the isolator, it’s the bushing supplied by Bilsteins although you have a good point with cheapy spring isolators.

Maybe the KYB top hat has a decent set?

These are the 5100 that work with a 0 - 2.5" lift, and that includes spacers I called and asked Bilstein USA after I was told on here that they wouldn't work, and they will infact clear and with what and how I am currently set up.

So if anyone is or has been wanting the height adjustable and not just the static 5100s and you're running the 1.5" spacers, these, according to Bilstein will work. We're gonna find out Sunday.
