It’s a coastal redwood, also known as a giant sequoia. This one is on the grounds of the lodge where we’re having a conference. I have planted 6 of these on my own property but they are only about 5’ tall and sadly, I probably won’t live to see them get to more than 15 or 20 feet.

As much as I wish I could take some credit for the growth, this is all @ToyoMafia and all you guys. I just put his logo up when applicable and let AI do most of the heavy lifting. Tom just sweetened the deal with future stock options and promising I can ring the bell on Wall Street when he goes public. He was gonna let @Fotnot ring it but thought he might swing the dangler too hard.

This place (Tundras.com) kept me sane during Covid and this thread was a huge part of it. @Outbound , @Fotnot , @GODZILLA , @FrenchToasty , @Azblue , @Cpl_Punishment , @Squatting Pigeon , @War Machine , @RobertD , @Patch999 , @Jim LE 1301 , @1lowlife , @RainMan_PNW , @jewsNbrews @TRDFerguson , @AZBoatHauler , @JMB and many others that I can't think of right now (squirrel just walked by the window) were there from the beginning... TM is family and brought us all together in a unified, smart ass, nearly anything goes, thread.

I can't remember where I was going with this, but it's like a wisecracking Field of Dreams that Tom built and we all showed up to play. I'm just happy to be part of it.

One of the worst days of my life was happening right before Christmas - lots of shit that I don't want to get into all came to a head at once. Out of the blue, I get a phone call from Tom. I figured my credit card got declined again and his wife was getting ready to sue me but he just called to tell me I wasn't alone in the bullshit life threw at me. We talked for a good 30 minutes before people started giving me dirty looks for sitting in my truck at the pump at Buc-cees. Shit like that is invaluable. The t-shirts and slaps are just a cool bonus.

I'm glad all of the new guys are here and I look forward to ringing that bell next to Tom and all of you crazy bastards standing in the background, drinking beers and making lewd jokes while I do it.
