Thanks! Diff drop was definitely not necessary with the red cv axles but I got a good deal and figured it doesn't hurt.

No rub that I've noticed so far. I left the coilovers at their factory height setting and the truck seems pretty leveled. I didn't take any before/after measurements but I would guess it's around 1.75"-2" of lift.

Diff drop may cause other issues with your driveline angles. Not really needed if you have the red/silver axles

Thank you. How's the ride quality on road compared to stock TRD OF package? Did you keep the same rear springs? Really considering the same setup. My installer/vendor recommends I get the sway bar end link too. Not sure if thats really needed...

The ride quality is good. Definitely as good as stock but it's hard to say which is better. I still need to play around with the compression settings a bit. I'm running them pretty soft right now so might turn it a few clicks stiffer.

Yes, I went the wrong way when I adjusted it. Now it rides a ton better.

Has anyone in here run the Eibachs with stock front coils? Looking for opinions on the ride at the 1.7” setting. I’m looking at pairing those with the Icon 0.5” rear coils.

Is there any reason Dobinson coils couldn’t be used with the Eibach shocks going with the 2” fronts/1” rear? That would be another consideration.

I have a 23 Limited and would rather not get into swapping to red axles and UCAs right now. That’s my hesitation with just running the full Eibach kit, and the full Dobinson setup is more than I’d like spend right now.

    Thanks.

Need some help guys. Installing Fox 2.5 shocks and Icon UCAs but when I try to line up the spindle and UCA joint the axle seems to be binding up and won't push in? I tried rotating the hub with a wrench, and the axle spins but it seems like it won't slot in?

I'm guessing it was because I drooped the suspension so far but it was the only way I could get the shock in

I think so. I had to spin the axle while pushing it in at the same time. I got everything together but haven't tried 4wd yet but I think it's good to go.

Did u do the lift or did a shop do it, getting ready to do mine, Icon shows you need to cut some metal out where the lower shock mounts in the channel. Waiting on rear shocks to come in.

Hey guys, got a question. I've got a '24 TRD Limited that has a dealer installed leveling kit. Over the next couple of months I'll be adding a bit of weight to the vehicle in the form of sliders, skid plates, and a canopy.

What limitations or considerations are there when adding a stiffer rear spring to the truck to deal with the weight? I've been looking into the Dobinson springs, just unsure if the the stock TRD shock can handle a taller spring. Eventually I might like to upgrade to a full Dobinson suspension so I can get rid of the leveling kit.

    Thanks in advance!

Is there a stiffer spring out there that can fit the stock shock body?

As mentioned, the stock shock's length isn't intended to support very much additional ride height in the rear. However, adding a heavier (and slightly longer) spring in the rear isn't going to hurt anything assuming your weight that you add will push the rear end back down to near stock height. If you grab too much spring and don't do anything with your rear shock you run the risk of not having much (if any) downtravel left, and as a result having a negatively impacted ride.

So after reading all 59 pages here, are there no good long travel kits on the market for these trucks? I run a lot of torn up large rocked dirt roads to/from my house at 40-50mph on the stock TRD OR suspension. I don't think new shocks/springs will make a huge difference?

That's an interesting option, how much more throw do those have? I'll be putting bumpers on next summer is the spring rate good enough or should I pick up new springs as well? Is there any benefit to better UCA's vs the TRD's Pros with these assuming I set them for 2" lift? Lastly I'm assuming I'd pick up some dobenson rear springs and adjustable trac-bar? I'm going to have my local tire shop do the alignment more than likely since I'm 2 hours out of Denver in the mountains.

Has anyone come out with extended front sway bar links yet? I see plenty of rear but no fronts. Would rather go this route than doing a sway bar drop.

I installed the UCA, Icon 3.0 Coilovers Thursday, took it off jackstands and now it won’t shift out of park, any ideas to why? I had to remove the plate and depress the switch to get it out of park. I chalked the rear wheels when jacking it up, do t understand what could have happened. I disconnected the batter and let it sit for 10 min, the. Removed the ECU/ECM to get the UCA bolt out and back in, once done with everything, hooked the ECU/ECM back up, reconnected the negative on the battery, started up no codes, but would shift out of park.

That's bizarre, I just put on the same shocks thus weekend with no issues and had to unplug ecu and everything.
But your resis are not mounted quite right. The worm clamps fit into the machined slots on the resi. Looks like you need to slide them down half an inch or so

Sorry if this has been asked/answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything while searching.

Does anyone know of a good shop for install/purchasing an Icon Stage 5 lift in the DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia area?

    Thanks!

Did you have to do brake lines?

I have the exact same setup as you with different 35s and icon uca. I'm worried. Getting it done tomorrow. Don't want any issues.

I'm pretty sure the king 2.5 rears don't lift the rear any. I'm confirming with accutune though.

The shocks don’t ever provide lift, it’s the springs that do the lifting. Anything over stock will need rear break lines.

For sure. The king 2.5s use the stock springs.
