VLAND 3rd Gen Taillights for Gen 2.5

Update while I love these lights, I didn't notice when I first installed, my interior lights flash (meaning the a/c back lights and radio lights. When i turn the headlights on it doesnt flash)with the turn signals both with the sequential and without.i had a dead battery which I thought might be the culprit. Replaced with a new one and still persist. I've tried almost every configuration I could think of with unplugging the sequential, unplugging the start up sequence. Plugging them both in and still the interior lights flash. Has anyone had this happen with these or any other taillights. Trying to find a solution before I return them.

I returned mine. I had some electrical issue where the lights behind the ac controls would flash with the turn signals. Pulled my hair out trying to figure it out. Even ordered a 2nd set. Same thing. As much as I love the look the interior lights flashing drove me nuts.

 

yep still running mine with no problems.

 

Love the lights. Hate dealing with VLAND.

 

Had issues with yours? Are yours the one that were chipped when you got them and it took forever for VLAND to make it right?

 

I installed these a couple of weeks ago. I like the lights but VLand is not worth dealing with. First set I ordered had chips and scrapes all over both lights - inside and out of the housing. I had snapped them in and pulled the film off and that’s when I saw the extent of how bad they were. I emailed VLAND a few hours after delivery (which they could see on their end) and the rep said he wouldn’t take them back. That there was no way to prove I didn’t damage the lights and whatever else. Blamed me for the damage since I had installed them.

So I ordered another set on Amazon (same VLAND seller), this set had missing white retainer clips on both lights. So I took them off the broken pair, put them on the Amazon pair, then returned the junk ones through Amazon and washed my hands of the whole deal.

Avoid ordering direct from VLANDS. Order from Amazon so returns are easier, or HiRev also sells these lights.

 

I've had them a few months, they're bright and they pair well with the morimoto third brake light.
